"I like it now that I'm becoming used to it." Previous to his connection with aircraft production, Burns was employed In Fargo, N. D by a packing company. Hia three sons have seen some desperate fighting, he said. In their last letter they requested that he keep building planes, not having heard yet that he was in the serv ice. Son William Is corporal. Peter is also a corporal, and Ed ward, who has been In the serv Ice both in the National Guard and Regular Army for five years, Is a staff sergeant. A fourth son, now In Fargo, Is 17, his father said, and probably will see service before the war Is over. The 81st Infantry Division to which Pvt. Burns belongs Is the famous "Powder River Let 'Er Buck" division of World War 1 fame It Is commanded by Major General Charles H. Gerhard. DOG TRAINING CENTER AT SAN CARLOS, CALIF.
