For the past several years, the question of service from chiffon hosiery has been a much discussed subject among merchants who are selling hosiery to their customers everyday, as well ai among the customers themselves. How much wear may I expect from this or that pair of chiffon hose? You hear it every day, and Mann's decided to do something about It. A test was made, an actual wear test, in both walking miles, with the aid of a pedometer, and hours of service. These tests are now completed and Mann's truth fully say. that with proper care, there are miles and miles and weeks and weeks ot wear in chiffon hosiery. But remember, we are speaking of Mann's own brand, three thread chiffon hose, made expressly for us, by Nolde and Horst. Two pair of these fine stockings, worn under severe conditions, such as walking to work and other hasards that enter into the life of a pair of hose, actually lasted 1013 hours without break. They were laun dered before wearing and each night after ( day's wear. Another pair, given the pedometer test, lasted 97 miles without the slightest flaw. Such wear, such service, from a SI. 00 three thread chiffon slocking, is indeed proof of the quality found in Mann's own brand hosiery. You, too, may expect the same results when you buy your hosiery from Mann's. Ask the girls in the Hosiery De partment, who made the test, to tell you more about it. It's an interesting story.
