ClElAllEN CHUNGKING, Oct. 14 (AP) Chinese alrforces reported today that three successful bombing rnlds on Japanese airfield at Hankow today destroyed "numerous Japanese air planes and a munitions dump. The raids, military sources said were larger and more vigorous than any carried out by the Chinese air- force In 18 months. Destruction of the munitions de pot, the Chinese flyers reported, rocked the entire Hankow area, start ing huge fires. Japanese announce ment said the raids killed 60 Chi nese civilians. Oct. H. Breaking off a long-distance telephone conver sation In mid-career, a shot tonight ended the life of a man giving the name of Ernest W. Dolsen, Yakima, in a Seattle hotel room. A telephone operator, cutting tn on a conversation between Dolsen and a man believed to be his brother-in-law, H. A. Gtllespte. Yakima, heard the shot Interrupt the call. A bellboy who climbed a transom Into Dolsen'a locked room discovered him shot to death.
