' VI teaspoon paprika. 1 egg yolk. 9 tablespoons chopped green . peppera. 3 tablespoons chopped onions. IVi cups tomatoes. Va teaspoon crushed bay leaf. 3 tablespoons chopped celery leaves. Mix beef with catsup, salt, pap rika, yolk, peppers and onions. Snap into four cakes, each two thirds of an Inch thick. Brown well In two tablespoons of chopped uet which have been heated In a frying pan. Add the rest of Ingredients. Cover and allow to simmer for 30 minutes. Cover with olive sauce. Olive Sauce Vi cup chopped ripe olives. 3tablespoons chopped green olives. 1 tablespoon aalad oil. 1 tesapoon chopped parsley. Mix Ingredients. Heat and apread on top of meat. Rhubarb Conserve g cups diced peeled rhubarb. 3 cups chopped pineapple. Vi oup pineapple Juice. 3 tablespoons lemon Juice. 1-8 cup orange Juice. 8 cups granulated sugar. Allow the frulta and Juices to simmer for If minute In a covered pan. Uncover and boll for five min utes. Add sugar and boll gently un til the conserve thickens. Pour Into sterilized Jars. Beet Salad 1-8 cup salad dressing cup sour cream. 3 cups chopped cabbage. I teaspoon celery seed. 3 tablespoons chopped parsley. 1 cup diced cooked beets. 14 teaspoon salt. V, teaspoon paprika. Wright, 92, a resident of southern Oregon since 1910, pass ed away near Phoenix. Oregon, Tues day at 11:15 a. m., after a few weeks illness. Mr. Wright was born In Syra cuse. New York, July 13, 1845. He spent his early life in New York, and when 14 years or age, mov ed to Owatonno, Minn., with his par ents, where he met Miss Ida M. Coff man. They were married in Septem ber, 1901. Mrs. Wright passed away April 38. 1923. He was a fine Chris tian man. and well liked by all who knew him. He was a member of the First Baptist church. Mr. Wright had lived the past 10 years at Phoenix, and before moving there lived on the Central Point Medford highway. He leaves to mourn his departure. one niece, Mrs. William E. Thomp son of Phoenix, Ore. Funeral services will be conducted at the Perl funeral home, Thursday at 2 p. m., the Rev. W. A. Dawes of the Baptist church officiating.
