Large crowds attended the numer ous events on the day-long program and all, committee heads reported, apparently had an enjoyable time. Almost as if. by design, the weather cleared Just before the start of the big patriotic parade and rain held off until completion of the Medford Ashland high school football game which was attended by a throng es timated at more than 5000. By that time scene of the festifvities had shifted indoors and the showers did not matter. About 1600 persons attended the dance and floor show held last night as a climax to the celebration. This was the largest Armistice Day dance throng in more than a decade, said Lee Garlock. chairman for the event.
