Eugene McGranes Visit With Leaches During Past Week Last week was "old home" week for Mr. and Mrs. Eugene L McGr&ne of VaJlejo, Calif., who have been the gueste of Mr. and Mrs. Edward J. Leach. Mrs. McGrajie will be remem bered as the former Margaret English, whose father was auperlntendent of the Mall Tribune printing shop. Mr. and Mrs. McCrane wore return ing from a "circle" tour from San Francisco through the Panama Canal to New York City to Columbus, Ohio, where Mr. McOrane attended the national Elks convention, thence to Seattle by way of Lake Louise and Banff During their brief stay In Medfo'rd, they were the Inspiration for a series of delightful Informal parties. Strickler of Sleepy Eye, Minn., a well-known summer visitor in the valley, has Just arrived from Alaska, following a six weeks' vacation tour there with her daugh ter, Mrs. Charles A. Wing. Mrs. Wing returned earlier in the month, and will have Mrs. Strickler as a guest for a time at the Wing country home. Mrs. Wing and Dr. Strickler sailed from Seattle, landing at Seward and taking the railway Inland as far as Fairbanks. From there they went by air to Tanna, and thence . by river boot up the Yukon river to White horse. After visits at Lakes Atltn and Ben nett. Mrs. Wing and her mother made the return trip via Skagway and Sitka, sailing to Seattle on the 8. S. Aleutian. Ned Harrell Weds in California The many friends of Lieut. Ned Harrell of the United States navy will be Interested to hear of his mar riage some time ago to Miss Frances Louise Vedder of Pasadena. Califor nia. The wedding took place in the California city, after which the coup left for a honeymoon throughout tho southwest, and Into Old Mexico. LJeut. Harrell Is the son of Jo&uph Harrell of Medford, and a brother of Lieut. Ben Harrell of the United States army, who married Miss Hir net Campbell of Medford In 1933.
