The court will dispose of the mo tion for arrest of Judgment, and a new trial in the case of Melvln Pranklln Sallee. Yankee creek district SERA worker, convicted by a circuit j court Jury, alter 20 minutes, of an I offense against a seved -year-old Cen- t tral Point girl. Affidavits filed by the ; defense, charging errors by the court , In two Items of its Instructions to 1 the Jury, attacking the validity of the Identification of Sallee by Mrs. Violet Andrus of Central Point, and the methods assertedly employed by ! the district attorney, the state police, ; nd the county Jailer, will be met by counter-affidavits of the state. One of the affidavits, charges that j the mother of the girl, complaining j witness, signalled her child, while ; she was on the witness-stand, an- j other that a dictaphone was used In the county Jail.
