Palo Alto and Fresno. Mr. Wlrth observed that general conditions In California have Improved, and that this winter there will be more people on relief rolls per capita than Oregon. Californlans have their eyes on Oregon, their new gov ernor and the new deal, Mr. Wlrth stated, and they are wondering how the combination will work out.
