C, that the con tract between the Reconstruction Fin ance corporation and the Mertford Ir rigation district for a (405.000 loan for the retirement of bonded indebt edness had been signed by govern ment aides and had been forwarded. Olln Arnsplger, general manager ol the Medford and Talent Irrigation districts, said this meant "the nego tiations have been a success." (P) Nudist colonies have no place In the Saw tooth national forest of Central Idaho because of the for est fire hazard. N. 8. Benedict, supervisor of the forest, In a message received hero today, said nine Salt Lake City girls had Inquired where there wa a lake where "modern but refined" young women might vacation without clothes. "Sawtooth days and nights are cold, and the girls would have to build fires," said Mr. Benedict. "The forent fire hazard would be too great." He did not name the girl. Bones testified that one of his group shot nnd killed a pheasant, and that when they sent a dog after It Mrs. Vorls shot at the animal. When the dog was called off Bones claimed the woman fired several shots, one of which struck him In the head.
