(Spl.) Without committing himself to sup. port any candidate, Senator Sam Brown of Marlon county, In a radio address delivered over KOIN laat nlnht. declared that I am certain that the candidacy of Joe Dunne constitute the greatest mensc threatening the people of Oregon to day." Senator Brown, who waa runner-up In the Republican gubernatorial pri mary laat aprlng. asserted that he la not supporting the Republican nom inee and cautioned the voters against injecting "Chicago alley polltlca into Oregon." Brown flayed Dunne as a "chameleon senator, addicted to car rying water on both shoulders, who was with the dairymen at milking time and with the milk distributors at delivery time: with the wets in the morning and the W. O. T. U. In the afternoon." Knows Dunne's Record Brown stated that emissaries of Dunne came to him, and finally Dunne, to show what political ap pointments could be bestowed upon him in return for support. He de clined his refusal to support Dunne la baaed upon the fact that "I know his record." "The cost of printing these bills, of cleri cal hire and occupying the time of the legislature entalla an enormous expense to the state." Brown aald. Brown declared. He points out that Dunne favored the IS auto license fee which charges the man with a new high-priced car the aame as the aame car owner with an old ear.
