While Camp Applegate, basketball obamplons of the Medford CCC dis trict, go to Roseburg to play Camp Tyee, champions of the Eugene CCC district, the team from Camp South Fork of Rogue River will go to Yreka, Cal Saturday to play Oak Knoll camp of the Redding district. The South Fork team, composed of Illinois men, will play the Oak Knoll five, all Calltornlans. South Fork was runner-up for the district championship, being defeated by Applegate. LOCAL YOUTHS SHIP FOR ORIENT CRUISE Beth BuUls, Jr., and Don Wold, local youths, are on the sea. It was learned by friends here today. Two weeks ago they sailed from San Francisco on the Golden Peak and are now In southern waters near San Dtego, both as employes on board. Their Journey will take them to the Orient before they return to Med ford In the summer. FOREST PICTURES W. R. Fuller of the Oregon State Forest department together with Al bert Ernst, from the regional office of the forest service are giving aome fine motion pictures and lantern slide views, at the CCO campa and other local places. Last evening the pictures were shown at the city hall In Talent. This evening pictures will be shown at the Medford high school at 7:45. The public Is invited.
