Mr. rarrell told the club members of efforts to get legislation through and the difficulties involved, showing the highlight and sidelight of the present administration. He voiced particular Interest In the bankruptcy bill, which comes before the senate today, stating that It constitutes a definite tie-up with the Irrigation refinancing program and hat Irriga tion Interest are particularly anxious for Its psssage. Senator Chas. N. McNary was de scribed by Mr. Parrell as an outetand Ing figure In Washington, popular In both political parties. He slated that Senator Stelwer was also commanding attention In the senate and that Con gressman Mott, although new at he game, was a hard worker, and doing many good things for his district.
