(AP) The advance of 4o In the price on cheese during the late session of the pro duce exchange, reflected two condl Hons quite distinctly, tha passing of the fluah production period and the Increasing demand for auppllea, Oregon triplets were boosted to !34o lb. on the exchange during the aesslon with the customary premium of lo for loaf. Late reporta suggested not only a decreasing output of cheese through thla territory but a similar condition at other points throughout the coun try. Market for butter ahowed a firm tone In the open trade and late quo tatlona on the produce exchange have been maintained generally. Make continued to decrease but waa holding up better than seasonably normal. Very weak tons was continued In tha market for Uva chlcksna and especially light and heavy hena which wera again lower In spots. Outward movement waa much re stricted. Young dueka were alow sale. There waa a shortage of turkey In tha local trade with continued good demand. Thla appllea to both old and new crop. Prlcea ware firm to higher. Very good demand for country killed meats waa ahowlng hare with prices held ateady to firm In all de partmente. Tops In veal, hogs and lambs were being held at extreme flgurea generally. 'Further advance In tha price of old potatoes to a new high point for the aeason waa reached In the Job bing trade at 42.50 for Yakima and 1.08 nominally for Deschutes. This waa higher than new stock waa quoted. Announcement of another dime advance in the price of all gradea of refined augar wsa made.
