Injured by Horses Joe Rarlck, who resides on the New Hope road near Grant Pass, suffered Internal Injur ies Saturday morning, when the horses, with which he was raking hay, became frightened, according to the Grants Pass Daily Courier. When a line broke, the horse became fright ened, and ran down the road, throw ing him under the rake. If one of the doubletrees had not broken, causing the rake to swing around, Rarlck would have been dragged into the Ap plegate river. He I the son of Rev. and Mrs. C. C. Sweeney left here yesterday by mo tor for Portland, from which city he plans to continue by train to Spo kane, Wash., to attend the Pacific Northwest Medical association con vention, which open there today. Dr. Sweeney plans to return here Satur day. Motor to Hell's Gate Reporting fine trip, good swimming and poor fishing. Wm, F. Isaacs and son.
