Adequate to apio eet the Needs of Development Is IR minded people, with visions of Medford's continued leadership of the vast "Midland Empire" of southern Oregon and northern California, and the future prosperity of this city, are enthusiastically supporting the ,proposed airport project. This city is geographically located to become one of the Pacific Coast's important air centers. We enjoy the . distinction of having Oregon's initial airport and Medford has always been identified with pro gressive air development. A' Medford's fortunate location, midway between San Francisco and Portland, will not, however, assure this city's position as an important link on the coastwise air lines unless adequate airport accommodations are provided at once. Barber field falls far short of meeting the requirements of swiftly progressing air activities. The giant tri motor planes which, even now, are making regular passenger and express trips along the coast require a modern airport such as Medford is' planning. Farsighted Medford must not miss the prosperity that is inevitable with air develop ment. A vote for Medford's proposed airport will be a vote for Medford's prosperity of tomorrow!
