A feature of the day wan the display of twenty-five garments for children which were made by the local woman's society members and which are to be sent to the Children's Home at St. Louis, Mo. The tables were placed in the form of an open squnro and fairly groaned with templing delicacies, the crowning triumph of which was a delectable birthday cake prepared by Mrs. S. A. Crane. This cake was adorned with six candles, ono for ench past pres ident and one for the president, Mrs. Howard Dynan. who presided at the luncheon. Mrs. K. J. IJt trell, tho class mother, rutting the first sltco of the beautiful cake and Mrs. Pynno serving the past presidents. Mrs. Harper and Mrs. Mobley; Mrs. W. W. Howard, who served two years, being unable to attend. The class sang the Doxology as a grace before the luncheon. Kev. and Mrs. E. 1'.
