ent phases of charitable work

After a discussion of different
problems which come uo frequent
ly to the missionary workers, the
meeting wan adjourned with pray
er. A feature of the day wan the
display of twenty-five garments for
children which were made by the
local woman's society members
and which are to be sent to the
Children's Home at St. Louis, Mo.
Several of the conferences are

a source of much good to those

groaned with templing delicacies,
the crowning triumph of which
was a delectable birthday cake
prepared by Mrs. S. A. Crane.
This cake was adorned with
six candles, ono for ench past pres
ident and one for the president,
Mrs. Howard Dynan. who presided
at the luncheon. Mrs. K. J. IJt
trell, tho class mother, rutting the
first sltco of the beautiful cake
and Mrs. Pynno serving the past
presidents. Mrs. Harper and Mrs.
Mobley; Mrs. W. W. Howard, who
served two years, being unable to
attend.
The class sang the Doxology as
a grace before the luncheon.
