geles arrived in Medtord today to take
charge ot the post in Jledford and tho
vicinity, which has been without a
captain for four weeks since the de
parture of Ensign B. Rogers for Den
ver. Captain Jackman's welcoming ser
vice will take place Sunday evening
and and services will be conducted

today in connection with tho opera
tions of alleged box car thieves.

mer. Testerman is accused of having
sold articles stolen In tho box car
robberies.
Testerman was a witness In trials
that led to the conviction of Dan
Casey, who was hanged for the mur
der of J. H. Phillips, a railroad detec
tive, and also the trials of John I.,
llurns, Casey's alleged accomplice in
box car robberies.
