Nat! to night. 87 OBITUARY BLANKEN'SHIP ' Barnett ' J Blankenshlp, a resident of Medford for the past 10 years, passed away at his home, 1522 Bryant street, early this morning at the age of 76 years, 8 months, 2 days. ( Death came as a result of heart trouble. Deceased was born at Sedalia, Mo., in 1845, and was married at the age of 20 years to Mary E. Burkles.of Benton county. Mo. To this union were born nine children, five of whom survive. Mrs. Blankenshlp passed away in 1S98 and in 1902 he was married to. Mrs. Flossie Hooper of Adna, Wash., who survives him. Mr. Blankenshlp served In the Civil war as a private in 'Company I, 18th Iowa infantry. He Is survived by the following children: Wm. A., and H. C. Blank Ipshlp and Mrs. Ora E. Stevenson. of Randle, Wash. Eva E. Kuhnhanscn, Glenwood, Wash., and Albert, C. Blauklnshlp of Phoenix, Ore.
