The largo Xatatorlum hall was fittingly ar rayed for the occasion, being trans formed by hundreds of (.'lirlstimu; trees, greens and other natural deco rations. The orchestra was partially concealed beneath a beautiful canopy of green and white In the center of the dance floor. About the hall were placed white lattice work units, effec tively trimmed with natural cedar, red polasettlas and tiny 'red bells. On the age was placed a beautiful Christmas tree, from which glowed multi colored gilts. Interspersed with tiny bells. Santa Cliuis and a stocking-covered fireplace were not lacking from the holiday atmosphere which prevailed throughout. The punch booth was in deed rustic, being a correct reproduc tion of an old well set iu the midst of miniature forest. The grand march formed at 9:30 p. ni. and as the many couples, took their places in the line a scene of beauty and splendor was presented. Wonder ful evening cowus of every hue, the pastel snaues predominating, were worn by tho young ladles, offering u pleasing contrast to the dark clothes of the men. A dlversiiied order of dance held sway until nearly 2 a. m., when the guy affair came to a close. Over sixty couples attended, a large number of college students being among those present.
