We had prepared this, article with much care, intend-1 ing to send a copy of the paper to the Fish Warden; hut un known to us, our efforts had been ; anticipated by our enterprising' townsman, Wm. Vogt, who had taken the matter up personal-; ly, some time ago, with Fish Warden McAllister and Governor Benson. Mr. Vogt has just re- I ceived a letter from the Fish | Warden stating that he would, ship to Mosier this Fall 25,000; i l l l l v A . spotted trout fry to be planted ; ; in Mosier Creek. This will he welcome news tcC Moiier sportsmen. Mosier creek was stocked several years ago with 10,000 trout, hut freshets j and much fishing have thinned them out considerably. With proper care and protection, the 25000 trout that will be sent up this Fall will soon make of Mo sier creek an angler’ s paradise.
