Today the Eugene Water Board put into effect a new sphedule which provides 375 kilowatt-hours of cur rent for $7.16 a month. Nearest competitor is the Tacoma city-owned system which last month set a charge of $10.38 for that quantity. Federal Power Commission (figures submitted by J. W. McArthur, Eu gene superintendent, show Portland and Salem merchants pay $16.13. Spokane $16.10. Walla Walla and Yakima $17.63, Corvallis and Al bany $22.75. Pendleton. The Dalles and Hood River $20.85. and Rose burg, Medford and Klamath Falls Bonneville Power Sought. Bishop Wisdom and wife of Port land visited relatives here several days last week. Mrs. Clair Caldwell is visiting in Portland. Roy Clark of Hood River. Ore., vi sited his aunt, Mrs. W. C.
