neville dam— first federal project on
the Columbia river, is expected to
meet the additional energy require
ments occasioned by the reduced
rates.
Today the Eugene Water Board
put into effect a new sphedule which
provides 375 kilowatt-hours of cur
rent for $7.16 a month. Nearest
competitor is the Tacoma city-owned
system which last month set a
charge of $10.38 for that quantity.
