H. F. L indner, five m iles n o rth of tow n, has th resh ed his alfalfa seed, and from ten acres he harvested 2000 pounds of good clean seed. T heodore K rau se of S tanfield did the th re sh in g and has moved to Mrs. G retcheji P u rd y ’s place to th resh 25 acres, and will then go to th e W. E nglish place for eight acres more. T his seed crop is all on ad jo in in g ranches. The price of seed now ranges upw ard from 30 cents a pound. L indner says he paid for th e land on w hich he grew the seed w ith th is one crop. Before com ing here he had been engaged in seed production. COLUMBUS. The Ohio Farm B ureau Co-op as sociation serves 79 county-w ide farm b u reau co-ops in th e state.
