Clarke. manager of the Hermiston Light & Power company, returned Monday from a four day trip to Salt Lake City where he at- tended a meeting of representatives for the Northwest Electric Light as- sociation. Besides attending the ses sions Mr. Clarke and other delegates visited the copper mining company works where huge machines are be ing operated by electricity. He also visited the Utah state capitol build ing and the Mormon Tabernacle and heard the Sunday morning broad cast. Supt. and Mrs. W. G.
