John A. Clarke. manager of the
Hermiston Light & Power company,
returned Monday from a four day
trip to Salt Lake City where he at-
tended a meeting of representatives
for the Northwest Electric Light as-
sociation. Besides attending the ses­
sions Mr. Clarke and other delegates
visited the copper mining company
works where huge machines are be­
ing operated by electricity. He also
visited the Utah state capitol build­
ing and the Mormon Tabernacle and
heard the Sunday morning broad­
cast.
