Otto Sapper who recently left this city to taka charge of a hardware store which Sapper«’ Inc. ha« pur chased at Sllferton, Oregon, return- burned to this city the latter part of last week. Mr. Sapper 1« very well pleased with Silverton. When he returns to the valley his family will accompany him. For Spring are beginning to arrive. They include all the late shades. Pierce K IN G S L E Y S Mrs. B. B. Garrett and Mrs. Pat Slscel of Wasco drove up and spent the week-end visiting friends. Mrs. Garrett visited at the W. H. Shaar home and Mrs. Siscel with friends in Hermiston. They say the wheat around Wasco 1B badly damaged and many are already reseeding.
