H.Prindle is at a loss to figure out what sort of a disease killed a bull calf for him last Sunday after it had been sick only a short while. The animal, which was five months old. was of registered Holstein stock. and a handsome specimen for his age. Some of the gentleman's neigh bors advance the theory that the calf contracted that highly fashion able disease, the flu, and died from It. but Mr. Prindle thinks It possible that it was plain animal disease, not human, that put the kibosh on it. Anyway it's dead, and the owner has lost what would soon have been a valuable addition to his dairy herd.
