He bro u g h t a carload of ca ttle to P ortland on Monday. Mr. and Mrs. B. F. Bentley have moved from /h e Ross house on T hird stre e t to the Jam es Babcock house east of Mrs. C. M errill’s which they will occupy te m p o ra r ily. T his house was form erly owned by th e late Mrs. Maggie Ulm. Mr. Bentley has purchased a lti-acre fru it ranch near G rant's Paas and Is planning to move th ere as soon as he can dispose of his tire shop in Gresham . Mrs. O. A. Towle retu rn ed Monday evening from a two w eeks’ trip to Uie m iddle w est, including m any points in M innesota and N orth D a kota. He visited his b ro th er, Geo.
