According to weather reports, wind speeds reached 33 mph with gusts up to 67 mph on Sunday. Above: a tree was knocked down on Main Street in Heppner. The Ione/Arlington volleyball team took third place in the district tour- nament held in Echo on Saturday, October 23. They lost their first match against Echo 3-0 and won the sec- ond 3-1 against Klickwood, earning their third place spot. The team will play their first playoff game Wednesday, hoping to win two games and go to the state tournament. The Ione/Arlington football team traveled to Cove and brought home the win on Friday, October 22. The team will begin the post season with a playoff game this week at North Powder.
