The District’s purpose would be to serve urban, rural residents and agricul- tural operations, through: • Community vol- unteers – 4-H Club, Af- ter-School, Summer Pro- grams, Master Gardener, Family Nutrition, Wood- land Manager; • Applied research for farmers, ranchers, for- est owners, and vineyard- ist to solve disease, insect, production, conservation challenges; • Community food systems, small farm de- velopment – food supply, safety, nutrition, local mar- kets, agritourism; Declining federal and state funding to counties has re- sulted in cuts to local pro- grams, including Exten- sion. Duties of the Planning Commission include approving land use actions, maintaining the County’s Subdivision and Zoning Ordinance, and working with the County Board of Commissioners to manage the County’s land use Comprehensive Plan. RP advises it sounds like possibly 5 or 6 juveniles. -MCSO received a re- port at Hilltop Rd/Ridge Crest Ln, Boardman that Luis Albert Navarro was ar- rested by MCSO on DUII. -MCSO received a re- port at NW Baltimore ST/ NW Gale St, Heppner that a dog is barking. Deputy checked area, dogs are quiet at this time. January 13: Morrow County Sheriff ’s Office received a report on SE Matlock St, Heppner that RP saw someone in her driveway and when they saw her they took off run- ning up the alley. Unable to locate. -MCSO received a re- port at Wilson Ln, Board- man that a vehicle turned around by his shop near ve- hicles he is working on. RP is behind the vehicle now. MCSO responded, driver was warned for driving without a license and sub- ject were given a courtesy ride to Sinclair. Will come back and get vehicle with a licensed driver. -MCSO received a re- port on S Main St, Heppner regarding subject going around town asking for money for her brother’s fu- neral that already happened. -MCSO received a re- port on Tower Rd/I 84, Boardman that there was a stalled truck on the overpass of Tower Rd/I84. Truck de- scribed as England truck. -MCSO received a re- port at Green Acres on Pat- erson Ferry Rd, Irrigon that a black and white pit bull ran after the RP. The owner is Frank and lives in a house next to Green Acres. -MCSO received a re- port on NW Gale St, Hep- pner that RP would like to speak to a deputy about a subject who pulled a knife on his 10 and 13 year old sons and their 11 year old friend. -MCSO received a re- port on Kunze Ln, Board- man that she took laundry to a male and he assaulted her. RP advised that he shoved her. -MCSO received a re- port at Frederickson Farms on E Columbia Ave, Board- man that there are two men with shotguns and two dogs on the rock quarry land. Un- able to locate. -MCSO received a re- port on Linden Way, Hep- pner that 14 year old RP advised that a 15 year old is threatening to kill him. RP advised that he believes the subject has a gun. -MCSO received a re- port on SE Utah Ave, Irrigon that there is a white Dodge standard cab short box that came flying through and went down Tenth St. -MCSO received a re- port on SE Utah Ave, Irri- gon that a white Dodge half ton pickup was speeding towards Tenth. -MCSO received a re- port on SE Utah Ave, Ir- rigon that a grey BMW has car alarm on. Turned into the mobile home park off of Fourteenth St. -MCSO received a re- port at Hwy 730/Pleasant View Rd, Umatilla that there is a drunk driver en route to Irrigon from this location. -MCSO received a re- port that Tri County advised a stolen vehicle out of Ar- lington, heading westbound but contacted MCSO in case the vehicle heads east. -MCSO received a re- port that Roger William Shipley was arrested by UCSO on MC warrant, bail $6,000, lodged at UCJ. -MCSO received a re- port on SE Ninth St, Irrigon that mother wants to report that person was threatened by her boyfriend.
