OSP Officers Association endorse Smith Justice Court Report cent press release of the Or Heppner Gazette-Times, Heppner, Oregon The Oregon State Police Officers Associa tion has announced the en dorsement of Oregon State Representative Greg Smith (R-Heppner) for the May primary election. "Representative Smith has been a stable and reliable voice for Or egon State Troopers,” said Brian DeLashmuett, po litical representative of the Oregon State Police Officers Association. “We appreciate his leadership in the legislature.” “1 am honored to receive the endorsement of our state troopers,” said Rep. Smith. “During the 2009 legislative session, I did my very best to sup port our law enforcement officers. Every time one of our patrolmen begins their shift, they must be wonder ing if they will be returning home at the end of the day. No amount of words can say thank you to these fine and dedicated profession als; they truly deserve our solid support. I’m proud to be their partner.” R ep resen tative Smith’s public safety en dorsement follows the re- egon Anti-crime Alliance’s 2009 legislative scorecard, w here Representative Smith earned an outstanding 94% voting record and voted in accordance with the alli ance 18 out of 19 times. “It doesn’t surprise me that Representative Smith has earned this en dorsement.
