SIX - Heppner Gazette-Times, Heppner, Oregon Wednesday, September 30,2009 HEALTH DISTRICT -received the fol lowing profit/loss statement from Mahoney for August: the district had $548,002 in gross patient revenue for August and $92,095 in total revenue deductions for $455,907 in net patient revenue; $90,227 in tax revenues and $2,501 in other operating revenue for $548,636 in total operating revenue; $619,629 in total operating expenses and an $11,643 in non-operating gain for a $59,349 loss for the month. -received the fol- lowing profit/loss state ment for the 2008-09 fiscal year: $6,390,977 in gross patient revenue; $890,101 in total revenue deductions; $658,489 in tax revenue; $102,152 in other operat ing revenue for $6,261,518 in total operating revenue; $6,876,333 in total operat ing expenses; $227,659 in non-operating gain for a $387,155 loss for the year. Mahoney said that the year end financial reports have not yet been completed. -received the fol low ing rep o rts for Au- Sheriffs Report gust: Pioneer M em orial Clinic: 382 patients w ith 38 new patients, 36 patients seen by a nurse and 11 no show s; lrrig o n M edical C linic: 202 patients, 40 new patients, 38 seen by a nurse and 12 no shows; Pioneer M em orial H os pital: 13 admissions, one swing bed admission; 18 admitted for observation; 446 total outpatients; 89 emergency room encoun ters; 1670 lab tests; 108 x-ray procedures; 34 CT scans; 37 EKG tests; one treadmill procedure; three colonoscopy procedures; tw o endoscopy procedures; 33 respiratory therapy pro c e d u re s; H ep p n er A m bulance: 31 total p ag e outs w ith 22 tran sp o rts for $29,054 in revenue; B oardm an A m b u lan ce: 23 total page-outs with 18 transports for $21,846 in revenue; lrrigon A m bu lance: 16 total page outs with seven transports for $7,219; there were three flights; 126 Home Health visits; one Hospice admis sion; 912 drug doses for $54,934 in drug rev enue. The Morrow County Sheriff s Office reports han dling the following busi ness: July 8: M orrow County S h e riff’s O ffice received report from an lrrigon man that he was selling an item on Craig’s List and the subject sent him a $ 10,000 check which turned out to be fraudu lent. -MCSO completed a welfare check on a possi ble juvenile one mile west o f Patterson Ferry w alking eastbound with a ball cap pulled over her face and face diverted, appearing to not wanting to be seen. It turned out to be a female in her 30s who did not need anything and did not want help or contact. -M CSO received report from an lrrigon sub ject who said his daughter had a phone on his ac count and she was receiv ing voice mails that he did not approve of. He said the company refunded the money and he had a copy o f the letter confirming the amount refunded. -M CSO received request for a deputy from a Heppner subject to speak to juveniles about w ear ing helm ets when riding bicycles. -MCSO received request for assistance in Heppner for a subject just released from a m ental health facility. The reporter said the subjects tried to get two little boys to come up to the vehicle. A 15-year old was cited for Illegal Possession and Use of Fireworks and Throw ing Away Lighted M a te ria l. D avid Jam es Reed, 18, was arrested on probable cause charges of Illegal Possession and Use o f Fireworks and Throwing Away Lighted Material. He was released on his own recognizance with $3,500 bail. -M CSO received report o f debris, including metal shelving and a 4x4 post, in both lanes o f travel on 1-84 near Boardman. -M C SO , B oard- m an Police D epartm ent rec e iv e d rep o rt from a B oardm an su b je c t that he w itnessed one o f the neighbors killing a kitten at an apartment complex in Boardman.. -BPD received re port of an attempted bur glary at a school in Board- man. -BPD, Boardman Fire Department received report o f smoke com ing from the laundry room at the back o f a house. -BPD received a report o f a kitten hit by ai car and badly InJiuWd. Tftb code officer was going to put it down. -H eppner A m bu lance received report of a m ale possibly having a stroke in Heppner. The subject was transported. -lr rig o n A m b u lance received report from a man that his wife was diz zy. He said she was mildly diabetic, had migraines and was on m edication. The patient refused transport. July 9: M orrow County S h e riff’s Office re c e iv e d rep o rt from a deputy o f suspicious cir cumstances at building on Main Street in lrrigon with an open door. The building was secure and there was no forced entry. Public w orks was advised and they requested the deputy to shut the door and they would check on it in the morning. -M CSO received report the Umatilla County S heriff’s Office arrested K elly M. Rosas, 31, on an lrrigon Justice Court warrant for Failure to Ap pear. He w as lodged at Umatilla County Jail with $6,000 bail. The subject was also lodged on a Uma tilla County Sheriff’s Of fice warrant. -M CSO received report of a semi truck con stantly parking on Utah Street in lrrigon running all night, but a city ordinance states there is to be no semi parking on city streets. A deputy responded and was unable to locate anything. -MCSO received report of a hold up alarm at the Bank o f Eastern Or egon in Heppner. It was a false alarm. -MCSO received request for a drug dog for a trooper on a traffic stop. The canine was cancelled. -M CSO received report of a suspicious male on property in Boardman. The subject asked for a ride and was talking to himself. A female was also seen. The su b ject w as tra n s ported to detox. -M CSO received re p o rt from an lrrig o n wom an that subjects are shooting guns toward her livestock. The sheriff and under sheriff spoke to the subjects. -M CSO received report o f a car pulling into the W illow C reek Dam park and two people went through the gate, with one up on the dam. A deputy was unable to locate any one. -MCSO received report of a possible drunk driver on Flwy. 730. The vehicle was found in its driveway. -Boardman Police Department made contact with a vehicle that had its doors open. The ow ner advised that someone from his company got something out o f it and forgot to close it up. -BPD received re port of someone camping on the access road. The campers were advised that the area was not designated for overnight camping. 1 bv' -B P D : r e c e iv e d rep o rt o f a d riv e -o ff in Boardman, owing $30. The subjects didn’t even stop at the stop sign. -BPD cited Luis Angel Ruiz Aguilar, 40, for No Operator’s License. -B PD cited M i chael M ulliken, 25, for Contempt o f Court-viola tion o f no contact order. He was lodged at Umatilla County Jail with $7,500 bail. BPD arrested M i chelle L. Cowan, 29, for DUII. She was lodged at UCJ with $12,000 bail. -BPD officer re ported a male subject yell ing at the p olice. S ub ject was advised that if he didn’t really want to talk to the police, he shouldn’t have yelled at them. -B o ard m an Fire D epartm ent received re port o f a fire. It was a false alarm. -Boardman Ambu lance received report o f a male with chest pains. He was transported to Good Shepherd Hospital.
