Heppner Gazette-Times, Heppner, Oregon Wednesday, July 15,2009 - FIVE Sheriffs Report The Morrow County Sheriff’s Office reports han dling the following busi ness: April 27: Morrow County S heriff’s Office received report of a dog wrapped around a sign in Irrigon. -MCSO cited Mi chael Clark Morris, 49, for Driving While Suspended, Driving Uninsured. -MCSO received request for contact from a subject who said a trailer owner owed him storage fees. Deputy had previously told the complainant that he could not hold the trailer for ransom. Complainant also requested contact concern ing harassment that was occurring at his father’s residence. -MCSO received request to trespass people from reporter’s residence in Irrigon. He said they were harassing him. -MCSO received report from an Irrigon man that several subjects were harassing his 13-year-old daughter. -MCSO, Boardman Police Department received report from a Boardman woman that she was hav ing trouble with a male subject. BPD arrested Roy DeYoung, 29, for Domestic Violence-Harassment. He was lodged at Um atilla County Jail with $3,000 bail. MCSO assisted. -MCSO received report from an Irrigon man that a 250-300 pound con crete gargoyle was stolen out of his yard. -Boardman Police Department cited Maria Chavez Herrera, 32, was cited for Driving While Suspended-violation. -BPD received re port from a bus driver of a rock thrown at a window. A female juvenile was cited for Crim inal M ischief I and two counts of Reckless Endangering. -BPD cited Silves- tre Lemus Barerra, 48, for No O p erato r’s License, Driving Uninsured, Failure to Yield to a Pedestrian in a crosswalk. -BPD received re port a subject who had a stalking order against him showing up at a store and not leaving when he was contacted. -BPD received re port of loud music being played at a residence for three hours. Danny Edwin Thom pson, Jr., 38, was cited for violation of the county noise ordinance. April 28: M or row County Sheriff’s Of fice deputy was flagged down by a subject who reported possible animal abuse/neglect. The owner was contacted and said he purchased the horses at an auction the previous month and they were in bad shape then. The horses had grain, hay, water and vitamins. -MCSO received report of a female subject’s care hit while she was away in Irrigon. The school vice principal made contact with the subject who did not remain on the scene. -MCSO received report from a female who said a pit bull came out of a yard and cornered her until someone came to assist in Irrigon. -MCSO cited Cody Esward Ranking, 18, for Failure to Carry Proof of Insurance. -MCSO arrested a male subject on probable cause for Failure to Register as a Sex Offender. He was lodged at Umatilla County Jail. -MCSO received report from a Boardman woman that while she was at her residence with her tw o-year-old daughter, someone hit the back win dow. She reported that she sneaked out the front door with her daughter and went to another location. M CSO a s s iste d Boardman Police Depart ment. BPD responded with a ladder. -MCSO received report from an Irrigon sub ject that she lent her sister her car and her sister does not want to give it back. -MCSO received report from a subject that her ex-husband has been taking items out of her resi dence in Hardman. -MCSO cited a ju venile in Heppner for Fail ure to Carry Proof of Insur ance, Operating a Vehicle without a Rear View Mirror and Failure to Register Ve hicle. The subject was also warned for white light to rear, defective equipment, right front tire running on cords and improper display of plates-no front license plate. The vehicle was im pounded. -MCSO cited Linn Marie Groves, 39, for Pass ing in a No Pass Zone. -MCSO received report from the Pendleton Police D epartm ent o f a runaway for the past two weeks and they had infor mation that the runaway may be staying at the Irri gon Mobile Court. Deputy was unable to locate the runaway. -MCSO received report of a car in front of a Boardman residence with music really loud. A juve nile male was cited for No Operator’s License, Driv ing Uninsured, Unlawful Sound Amplification and Operating an Unsafe Mo tor Vehicle. MCSO assisted Boardman Police. -Boardman Police received report of subjects trespassing on property in Boardm an. John A rthur Baxter, 19, was arrested on a Hermiston warrant for Contempt of Court/Failure to Pay Fine with $10,000 bail. He was also trespassed from the Riverview Mo tel. Vincent Wesley David Sommerville, 19, was also trespassed from the motel. -BPD arrested a juvenile male for Theft III. -B P D a r r e s te d Danny Edwin Thompson, Jr., 38, on an Asotin Coun ty warrant for Failure to be Located for Service of Process for Show Cause. He was lodged at Umatilla County Jail with $4,958.04 bail. -B P D re c e iv e d report o f five teenagers trespassing and entering a vacant house. The juveniles were warned to stay away from the property. April 29: Morrow County S h eriff’s Office received report of a subject sleeping at the Boardman Post Office. -MCSO received report o f the men’s rest room on 1-84 at Boardman trashed with vomit and fe ces all over the room. -MCSO received report of batteries stolen out of the siphon twice on the canal at Irrigon. -MCSO received request for deputy contact from a subject in lone re garding credit card fraud. -MCSO received report of a subject trespass ing on property in Hep pner. -MCSO received report of two burglaries at the same residence in Hep pner with a fire-proof safe containing wedding rings and other items missing. -MCSO received report o f a civil m atter concerning a horse stabled at an Irrigon residence with a $5,000 bill for mainte nance. -M C S O se rv e d Charles Henry Page, 53, with a Morrow County restraining order. -MCSO received report o f two teenagers riding bicycles in a parking lot in Irrigon who refuse to leave. -MCSO received report from a Boardman subject that her little brother was threatened with a knife by a neighbor. Deputies re sponded, but discovered no knife, and found that stories from both subjects changed when questioned. -M CSO, Irrigon Ambulance received report that a 61-year-old female fainted. An ambulance and deputy responded. The pa tient refused transport. -Boardman Police Department received report of a subject sleeping at the Post Office in Boardman. One subject was trespassed from the Post Office. -BPD cited Kris tina Lynn Cameron, 25, for Driving Uninsured. The vehicle was impounded. -BPD received call from a Boardman busi ness reporting a shoplifter. BPD arrested David Shane Molina, 30, for Theft III. He was lodged at Umatilla County Jail. -BPD cited John Arthur Baxter, 19, for Driv ing While Suspended-vi olation. -BPD received an open 911 call. A male ju venile advised he dialed the wrong number. Two deputies responded and confirmed the ju venile’s statement. -B PD cite d El- iodoro Duenas Monteon, 42, for Dangerous Left Turn. -BPD, Boardman Ambulance received report of a 13-year-old male with a high fever and feeling like he is going to faint. An ambulance responded and the subject transported. -Irrig o n A m bu lance received report of an 87-year-old who had fallen the previous night and had several pain in his knee and trouble moving. -MCSO received report of a Heppner ambu lance transporting a patient from Pioneer Memorial to St. Anthony’s Hospital in Pendleton. April 30: Morrow County Sheriff’s Office ar rested a male subject on a Umatilla Tribal Police war rant for Failure to Pay Fine. He was lodged at Umatilla County Jail. -MCSO received report of a subject staying at the RV park in lone without paying. -MCSO received report of a student in Irri gon who threatened to stab a teacher and smash in his aunt’s face. -MCSO arrested Bobby Lee Newland, 23, for Violation of No Contact order. He was lodged at Umatilla County Jail with $6,000 bail. -MCSO received report of a motor vehicle accident on Feedville Lane and Highway 207. -MCSO received report of a light that keeps getting shot out. -MCSO received report of a phone bill with extra chargers. -M CSO, Irrigon Ambulance, Irrigon Fire Department received report of an 18-year-old male hit by a car on S.E. Division St. and S.E. Wyoming in Ir rigon who had a severe head injury and trouble staying conscious. -MCSO received report of someone break ing out the window in her pickup in Boardman. -MCSO received report of someone shoot ing one of their cattle in Boardman. -MCSO received report of a fight in progress in Irrigon. -M CSO, Irrigon Ambulance and Irrigon Fire Department responded to a report of a vehicle that went o f the cliff at the end of Patterson Ferry Rd., north of Hwy. 730. Three people were involved; one had a head injury and one had a minor injury. One subject was transported to Good Shepherd Hospital. -Boardman Police Department received report of a lot of debris scattered all over the roadway on 1-84. -BPD received re port of a large fight with unknown weapons. A 19- year-old was arrested on Misconduct KK and lodged at Umatilla County Jail with $3,000 bail. He was released to his mother. -Heppner Ambu lance received report of an active 80-year-old female who felt like she was go ing to faint. She was trans ported to Pioneer Memorial Hospital. -Heppner Ambu lance received request for a transport to PMH for a blood sugar issue. -Irrig o n A m bu lance received report of a subject in Irrigon who was walking, felt ill and then collapse. Subject was non-responsive and her lips were turning blue. She was transported to GSH. -Irrig o n A m bu lance received report of a 41-year-old who fell off a horse. May 3: Morrow County S h eriff’s Office received report from an Irrigon man that he sold a trailer to a man in Irrigon and then the man moved the trailer. The man says the re porter owed him $500, but reporter says the man who bought the trailer never paid for it in the first place. -MCSO received report that someone dropped off a horse in an Irrigon pasture. -MCSO received report from Irrigon sub jects that the neighbors are threatening to shoot their dog. -MCSO received report from Gilliam County that a male subject had mooned people in Arlington and was going east-bound on 1-84 in a black Protege. A MCSO deputy and two Boardman Police Officers were unable to locate any one. -Boardman Police Department cited Michael Vince Martinez, 19, for Vi olation of the Speed Limit, 44 mph in a 30 mph zone. -BPD received re port o f a vehicle going through the yard of a Board- man residence and hitting a large tree. The Kennewick Police were on the scene. BPD responded. -BPD cited Elroy Marvin Johnson, 22, for Failure to Obey a Traffic Control Device. -BPD received re port of a suspicious person. The subject took off run ning from the Boardman skate park and ran across the freeway. The subject was advised not to run across the interstate and not to lie to police officers. -BPD cited a 17- year-old for No Operator’s License, Expired Permit and D riving O utside of Restrictions. May 4: Morrow County Sheriff’s Office re ceived report o f a single car rollover on Hwy.730 with six people involved and four severely injured. MCSO, Boardman Police Depart ment, Irrigon Ambulance, Boardman Ambulance, Ir rigon Fire D epartm ent, Hermiston Medical, Uma tilla Ambulance, ODOT, an O regon State Police reconstructionist and OSP trooper responded. Ishmael Garcia, 32, was arrested for Possession of Methamphet- amine. He was transported to Good Shepherd Hospital in Hermiston to be checked for injuries. -MCSO received request from an Irrigon woman who w anted to talk to a deputy about her nephew who is not attend ing school. -MCSO received report from the Benton County Dispatch that they had received a 911 call about a disturbance across from the Irrigon Skate Park where two older juveniles were picking on two young er juveniles. The call was lost. -MCSO received report o f a gang fight at Peterson Ferry near Hwy. 730 with two cars and an unknown number of peo ple involved. MCSO and Boardman Police respond ed but were unable to locate any fight. -MCSO arrested Keith Alan Buck, 39, on a Umatilla County Circuit Court warrant for Failure to Appear/Possession of a Forged Instrument and Forgery II. He was also ar rested on a Malheur County Circuit Court warrant for Failure to Appear/Forgery II and Failure to Appear/ Failure to Appear. He was lodged at Umatilla County Jail with $5,000 bail on the Umatilla County warrant and no bail on the Malheur County warrant. -MCSO received report of $60 taken out of an Irrigon man’s wallet. -MCSO received rep o rt o f a sem i truck wrecked on I-84/Port of Morrow, Boardman with a male subject in his 50s or 60s bleeding badly on his face, disoriented and hit very hard, but did not appear to be intoxicated. MCSO, Boardman Police Department, Oregon State Police, Boardman Fire and Boardman Ambulance re sponded. The subject was transported to Good Shep herd Hospital. -BPD cited Amber Danielle Gomez, 21, for Failure to Use Seat Belt/ Minor Child Not Restrained and Use of Non-Standard Lighting. -BPD received report that a neighbor was harassing his niece. May 11: Morrow County S heriff’s Office received report of a blade damaged, fuel stolen and wires pulled on the truck. -MCSO received report of a suspicious per son in Irrigon who may have been watching chil dren. -MCSO received report of someone dumping metal in Irrigon -M CSO, Irrigon Fire, Irrigon Ambulance received report and re sponded to a report of a fire alarm at A.C. Houghton Elementary School. It was determined that someone pulled a fire alarm in the special ed room. There was no fire. -MCSO received report from an Irrigon woman that another wom an, a 17-year-old and her 15-year-old daughter were threatening her. -Boardman Police Department received report of a 1-1/4 diameter snake curled up in a cupboard in a Boardman house. BPD captured the five-foot snake and released it into the wild. -BPD received re port of a theft at Riverside High School. -BPD arrested Da vid William Harris, 23, on a Clackamas County Sheriff's Office warrant for Failure to Appear/Hit and Run-property damage. He was lodged at Umatilla County' Jail with $12,000. -BPD received re port of a fire at the Wilson Rd. Trailer Park. Boardman Fire Department. Irrigon Fire Department, Board- man Ambulance, Boardman Police Department respond ed. It was determined to be a pan that had been set on I the stove. -BPD cited Jona than Norman Reed, 28, for Driving While Suspended- violation, Driving Unin sured. May 12: Morrow County S heriff's Office received report of a vehicle on Willow Creek Rd. being vandalized. -MCSO, Boardman Police Department received report of two people w ho have a no-contact order seen together in Boardman. Michael Anthony Mullikin. 25, was arrested on viola tion of release agreement and resisting arrest. He w as lodged at Umatilla County Jail with $12,000 jail. -MCSO received report of people stuck in the snow six-seven miles past Cutsforth Park and request ing tow. The reporter called back and said the Forest Service got him out and he no longer needed a tow. -MCSO received report that Pendleton Police Department arrested Joseph Leonard Ainsworth, 28, on a Morrow County Circuit Court warrant for Failure to Appear/Failure to Register as a Felony Sex Offender. He was lodged at Umatilla County Jail with $50,000 bail. -MCSO received report from a landlord that a subject who was renting his property had moved out and was to by a 37-inch LCD TV but hadn’t received any money. It was determined to be a civil matterA -MCSO received report of a dozer cat that broke down in the south bound lane on Highway 207 at Echo. The reporter warned that dust is so heavy that the vehicle appears to be an illusion. -MCSO received report from Heppner High School o f an em ployee receiving a suspicious call. -MCSO received report of a fire on top of a residence in Irrigon. The Irrigon Fire Department, Boardman Fire D epart ment, Irrigon Ambulance and MCSO responded. -MCSO received report of a vehicle hit at a residence in Irrigon while the owner was gone. -BPD cited Zane Stryker Coleman, 20, for V iolation o f the Speed Limit, 93 mph in a 65 mph zone. May 14: Morrow County Sheriff’s Office ar rested David Leroy Brow n, 39, on a warrant for Failure to Pay Fine on Theft II. He was lodged at Umatilla County Jail with $3,696.67 bail. -MCSO received report of juveniles possibly smoking marijuana at the Heppner High School track shed. -MCSO received report of someone damag ing her gold Honda Accord in Irrigon. -MCSO received report of possible gang fight in Irrigon. -MCSO received report of a fire north of But ter Creek near the Mader- Rust ranch. Weeds have been burned near a power pole and the w ind was kick ing up. -MCSO received request for contact from a Boardman subject con cerning a restraining order violation. -MCSO received report of thefts at the Lex ington Shell station. Kry stal Sharee Barrett, 25, was arrested for Theft I and Fraudulent Use of a Credit Card. She was lodged at Umatilla County Jail with $15,000 bail. -MCSO received report of a small gas can full of disposed needles taken off the reporter's garbage can in Irrigon. -MCSO received •Continued on next pane
