$1/2 million in ‘tippage’ money awarded countywide Heppner Gazette-Times, Heppner, Oregon Wednesday, November 12, 2006 - THREE By David Sykes Nearly $500,000 in county tippage money was divided up among govern ment, volunteer and other organizations in Morrow County last week. An appointed group of citizens from throughout the county sifted through 79 requests for over $2 million, to come up with 40 differ ent monetary awards from throughout the county to award a total of $499,952.
