Kelly Vande walker explains to Justin Yocom, of Heppner flit'll School's Freshman C areer class, hovs the equipment she uses as a medical transcriptionist works. Students were later allowed to come up and try their hand at multitasking. Skills needed include: listening, typing the notes while listening, medical terminology knowledge and a lot ot motivation, kelly's husband was kind enough to read some notes from a textbook so that the kids had a chance to listen to a recording and then try their hand at her job. Other speakers that spoke to the students included Jack Yocom, Sandy Putman, Jim kempas, Steve Lankford, Jerry Gentry, Skip Matthews, Jeff Cutsforth, Eric Cayce, Josie Miller, Ann Murray, Pam Neal, Jim Putman, kevin Chick and Dale Boyd.
