Sheriff's Report The Morrow County Sheriff's Office reports han dling the following business: Oct. 27: -Heppner A m bulance receiv ed a request from a subject that he would like EMS available while he was on the line by the football field in Heppner. -BPD was advised that the reporter's SUV with her five children was stolen while she was in the bank. BPD responded and the reporter's sister-in-law had taken the car and she thought the reporter saw her. -B PD receiv ed a report about a m ale shoplifter that was being held at the store until BPD could respond. -B PD receiv ed a report that the reporter’s 12- year-old grandson found a rubber glove inside out with a w hite su b stan ce in Boardman. -B PD receiv ed a report about a small bag of m ariju an a found on the football field. The bag was turned into BPD. -B PD re ceiv ed a report about the reporter's I nephew that had left with an uncle ag ain , w ith o u t p e rm issio n , going to Hermiston. - B o a r d m a n Ambulance assisted a female who had fallen and hurt her hip. O ct. 28: -M C SO a rre sted P atrice L eigh M atyear, 55, for Driving U nder the Influence and Criminal Mischief II. -M C SO made contact with some juveniles that they had stopped earlier at the M arina Park East Access Road. They didn’t go home after midnight and they didn’t take the 15-year-old female home immediately as they were instructed. All ju v e n ile s were cited for curfew violations. -MCSO received a report that while the reporter was out of town, someone came in and stole two bottles of Vicodin. -MCSO received a report that the re p o rte r’s neighbor was a having a seizure and the rep o rter knows CPR and advised she was going to perform it. -MCSO received a report that an elderly woman that fell the day before, could not get up the next day. Heppner Ambulance assisted and Life Line was requested. -MCSO received a rep o rt abou t a d isab led vehicle that may have been broken into. -MCSO received a rep o rt th at the re p o rte r advised there was a fire East o f the m outh o f the Deschutes River on 1-84. The fire at that time had reached the hillside, but no structures. -MCSO received a report about a single elderly woman whose motor home had broken dow n in the m iddle o f the road. The reporter was concerned for the woman's safety. -M C SO arrested Gustavo Lopez Dominguez, 20, for failing to appear for driving while suspended. -M C SO issued a cita tio n to Rondi M arie O ber, 45, for d e fe ctiv e equipment. -B PD issued a citation to Geoffrey Stephen Smith, 57, for Theft III. -B PD receiv ed a report about a subject that had choked the reporter. The subject had been drinking. - B o a r d m a n Ambulance assisted a female subject that had previous surgery on her knee that was passing out and had a fever. - B o a r d m a n Ambulance received a report that the reporter's friend had been sick for 15 days. The p a tie n t d id n ’t w ant the expense of an ambulance. The dispatch advised they should send an ambulance or the reporter should take the subject to the ER. O ct. 29: M CSO received a report from the Hermiston Police Dept, that Douglas Duane Jones, 28, was arrested on a Circuit C ourt w arrant for Grand Jury In d ictm en t for Possession of a Controlled S u b s t a n c e / M etham phetam in e and arrested on an Irrigon Justice Court warrant for Failure to Appear/Criminal Trespass II. He w as lodged at the Umatilla County Jail. M CSO received a report that O regon State U niversity arrested John Michael McCoard, 19, on an Irrigon Ju stic e C ourt warrant for Failure to Pay Fine. He was cited to appear. M CSO received a report from a caller in Irrigon that there was a fawn with a broken leg;her husband had to cut it out of a fence. M CSO received a report from a caller on 1-84 w estbound regarding two vehicles with two females who looked like they needed assistance. M CSO received a report from a caller in Imgon that som etim e during the night her vehicle was stolen. M CSO received a report from a caller in Irrigon that he saw the neighbor’s dog com e onto his back porch and kill his cat. A male subject was cited for Dog at Large. M CSO received a report from a caller in Irrigon that a prescription drug that belongs to the caller’s son was being given to a female subject. The caller’s son said he gave the medication to her. MCSO, Boardman P o lice D ept, receiv ed a re p o rt from G C SO o f a vehicle on 1-84 eastbound going sp eed s of approximately 103 mph. The GCSO caught up with the vehicle on milepost 148. M CSO received a report from a caller in Irrigon that someone broke the lock to a Peterbilt and stole items. M CSO received a report from a caller in Irrigon that junior high school boys were attem pting to steal bags of cans from the caller's back yard. MCSO, Boardman P o lice D ept, receiv ed a re p o rt o f horses out in Boardman. M CSO , H eppner Fire Dept, received a report from a caller on Sandhollow Road that she rolled her vehicle. She was not injured but the car was blocking one lane and partially blocking the other. MCSO, Boardman P o lice D ept, receiv ed a re p o rt from a c a lle r in Boardman that people were fighting on the soccer field near the Port of Morrow. T here were no w eapons involved but other people were running to the field and joining in. It was determined there was a lot of pushing but no assaults or injuries. M CSO and B oardm an P olice D ept, o ffice rs a rre sted F elipe Torres Rodriguez, 30, for DUII and cited for Driving while License Suspended M isd em ean o r, O pen C o n ta in e r and Illeg al Window Tint. The vehicle was impounded. Rodriguez was lodged at the Umatilla County Jail. M CSO received a re p o rt from a c a lle r on Highway 74 westbound of a p o s s ib le - D U II. It was determ ined to be a tired driver. M CSO received a re p o rt from a c a lle r in B oardm an o f a pum pkin stolen from one yard and dumped into another yard. A vehicle full of kids pulled away as the caller drove up. M CSO deputy arrested David Aaron Lueck, 21, and D avid D onohoe Flynn, 19, on a Violation of a No Contact Order. They were lodged at the Umatilla County Jail. B oardm an Police Dept, received a report of a suspicious camper east of the Boardman rest area. It was determined all was okay; it appeared the owners of the vehicle were duck hunting. B oardm an Police Dept, received a report from a caller in Boardman that a door on a high voltage shed was pried off and removed from its frame. O ct. 3«: M CSO deputy arrested Rollin Ray Bradfield, 36, on an Irrigon Justice Court warrant for Failure to Pay Fine/D og Running at Large, and also arrested on Probable Cause charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance II. He was cited at released to appear. M CSO received a report from a caller in Irrigon that a subject stole one of his credit cards and is buying drugs off the Internet. MCSO deputy cited Joel Flores, 29, for Failure to Renew Registration. M CSO deputy arrested Amy Jo Kowalski, 32, on an Irrigon Justice Court warrant for Failure to Pay Fine/Failure to Send Child to School. She was cited and released to appear. B oardm an Police Dept, received a report from a caller in Boardman that her front door was open and she was scared to go in. B oardm an Police Dept, received a report from a caller in Boardman of a domestic incident that just occurred. The caller was outside the house with all her things. The caller said this was not the first time he had kicked her out. B oardm an P o lice Dept, officer cited Anselmo P erez R ubio, 52, for Disobeying Traffic Control Device. O ct. 31: M CSO received a report of traffic barriers on 1-84 had been d riv en o v er and w ere causing a traffic hazard on the I-8 4 /H ig h w ay 395 o v erp ass. U C SO was advised. M CSO received a report from a caller in Irrigon that she was passed in a school zone by an SUV that was right on her bumper like the driver was pushing her out o f the way and then passed her. An extra patrol was req u ested in the morning when children are going to school at A .C. Houghton Elementary. MCSO received a rep o rt from a c a lle r in Commercial zoned building in lone Double lot w/shop 5152 sq ft building on 75 X 100 lot zoned commercial. A ccording to the re p o rte r, he m ade inappropriate remarks to a tenant and was also doing his laundry at the o n -site fa c ilitie s. The c a lle r requested MCSO to have the subject off the property. M CSO received a rep o rt from a c a lle r in Heppner that a pickup drove through an intersection near the elementary school with no regard for the children in the area.
