Local music students selected for state music competition Amy Jep sen and Brendan McEUigott recently won the honor of being able to compete in the OSAA Solo Music Championship Competition to be held at W illam ette U niversity in Salem on April 30. The two, along with almost 200 other instrumental and vocal music students, competed in the District 6 Solo and Ensemble Festival held at E astern O regon U niversity in La Grande on March 5. Jepsen, a junior at lone High School, won first place honors in both piano and harp.
