Moore Huddleston C allie P M oore H uddleston, 98, o f Soap Lake, WA, died Oct. 6,2004 at the McKay Healthcare Center in Soap Lake A graveside service will be held on Sunday, Oct 17, 2004 at l p m at the Lone Rock C em etery in Lone Rock, OR H uddleston was born at Lone Rock on Aug 4, 1906 to parents, James and Rhoda Mae Moore She attended school in Lone Rock She m arried Bill H uddleston on Aug. 29, 1925. The couple had two children and lived on a ranch outside Lone Rock raising sheep and cattle In the mid 1950s they moved to Hermiston, joining their son Tom in farming hay and melons Huddleston was very active in the First United M ethodist C hurch, Hermiston Home Extension and enjoyed gardening, hunting, fishing and camping The couple was married for 63 years Bill died in 1988. Huddleston then moved to Heppner for a few years near her son Tom In 1998, she moved to Ephrata, WA to be near her daughter, Billie Jean and then to the care center in Soap Lake, WA. She is survived by 10 grandchildren, 24 g re a t g ran d ch ild ren and nine great-great-grandchildren She was preceded in death by her husband. Bill; son, Tom; daughter, Billie Jean Waud; brothers, Clarence, Ralph and H arvey; her identical twin sister, Bertha Street; and her grandson, Steve Huddleston Burns Mortuary o f H erm iston is in care o f arrangements.
