SIX - Heppner Gazette-Times, Heppner, Oregon Sheriff's Report T he M orrow C ounty Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) re ports handling the following business: May 29: M C S O , Irrigon am bulance received a report from a caller in Irrigon o f a 30-year-old fem ale w ho had severe abdom inal pain. The patient was transported to Good Shepherd Medical Cen ter in Hermiston. -M C S O , O reg o n State Police received a report o f a dead deer in the left lane o f 1-84 w estbound. The deer was rem oved. -M C S O rec e iv e d a report from a caller in M oses Lake, WA that she received notification from M CSO that her cell phone was recovered. She requested a deputy con tact to m ake arrangem ents to pick it up. -M C S O rec e iv e d a report from a caller in Heppner that she hit a cat and w as not sure if it was dead. -M C SO , B oardm an Police Dept, received a report from a Boardm an officer that a male subject was laying be side the road with a dog. The subject w as located on 1-84 eastbound and it w as deter mined all was okay. -M C S O rec e iv e d a request for a deputy contact from a caller in Boardm an re garding a com puter fraud is sue. -M C SO , Irrigon Fire Dept, received a report from a caller in Irrigon o f a con trolled fire that was out o f con trol and was advancing toward a residence. The hom eow ner put out the fire. -M C S O rec e iv e d a request from a caller at the H eppner H igh School for a deputy contact regarding a problem with a student. -M C S O re c e iv e d a reqliest for a deputy contact from a caller w ho w anted to file a stalking complaint against a male subject. -M C S O rec e iv e d a request for a deputy contact regarding a high school student Wednesday, October 1, 2003 that ran the stop sign on a school bus. -M C SO , B oardm an P olice D ept, receiv ed tw o hang-up 911 calls from a lo cation in B oardm an. It w as determ ined all was okay. -M C S O rec e iv e d a com plaint from a caller in Irrigon o f reckless driving on Highway 730. -M C S O rec e iv e d a report from Stanfield Police D ept, th at W ilynda M arie W ardinski, 40, w as arrested on an Irrigon Justice C ourt w arrant for F ailure to Pay Fine/DUn. -M C SO , B oardm an am bulance received a report o f a van on the side o f the free w ay th a t w as p o in te d the w rong direction and a m an was lying beside the van on the side o f the road. -M C SO , B oardm an Police Dept, received a report from a caller in Boardman that a dog alm ost bit a ju venile. Tommy R. Ayers, 46, was cit ed for M aintaining a Dog as a Public Nuisance and Failure to Register Dog. -M C SO , B oardm an Police Dept, received a report o f shots fired in Boardman. It w as determ in ed su b ject(s) were shooting at skunks. -M C SO deputy cited a m ale subject for D riving while License Suspended and N o Insurance. T he vehicle was impounded. -M C S O rec e iv e d a report from G earhart Police D e p t, th a t T r ic ia D a w n C lough, 26, w as arrested on a M C SO w arrant for Failure to Pay Fine/Failure to Appear. She w as cited and released. May 30: M C SO re c e iv e d a re p o rt fro m th e H erm iston Police D ept, that L aw rence A. Perrin, 26, w as arrested on an Irrigon Justice C ourt w arrant for Failure to A ppear/D U II. H e w as cited and released. -M C SO , B oardm an Police Dept, received a re quest for an officer contact regarding the caller’s girlfriend w ho w as kicking him in the face and then out o f the house. It w as determ ined the caller w as in violation o f a no con tact order with the subjects in the house. The caller was ar rested on V iolation o f a No C ontact O rder and lodged at the Umatilla County Jail. -M C SO received an abandoned 911 call from a residence in H eppner; dis patch could hear a female sub je c t yelling at a m ale subject before the phone hung up. It was a verbal disturbance. -A ll offices and au thorities received a Homeland Security Alert advising a threat level dow n from a H igh O r ange to an Elevated Yellow. - M C S O , O re g o n State Police, UC A rm y Depot Fire Dept, received a relayed report o f flames com ing from under a vehicle on 1-84 w est bound; tw o occupants w ere out o f the vehicle. The A rm y D epot Fire Dept, responded. -M C SO , B oardm an Police Dept, received a report o f a subject all over the road on 1-84 eastbound. W hen the caller attem pted to pass it ap peared the subject was sleep ing at the wheel. -M C S O re c e iv e d a report o f a driver in Irrigon w ho w as D riving w hile Li cense Suspended plus her 4- year-old son w as not in a re straint and w as all over the vehicle. -M C SO deputies ad vised they w ere in enroute to a location to investigate m ari ju an a grow ing. It w as deter m ined to be for medical use. -M C S O rec e iv e d a request for a deputy contact in Boardman for possible tres pass onto the caller’s proper ty by a vehicle. -M C S O rec e iv e d a request for an am bulance in Irrig o n for an 83 -y ear-o ld m ale subject with chest pains. The patient was transported to Good Shepherd Medical Cen ter in Hermiston. -M C SO , H erm iston Police Dept, received a report o f a vehicle with 4-5 subjects and two females fighting, then a male subject threw a female back in the van and left on Highway 730 eastbound from Irrigon. -M C S O rec e iv e d a r e p o r t fro m a p a lle r in H erm iston that a fem ale sub jec t in Irrigon stole her dia mond ring when she was at her residence. -B o a rd m a n P o lic e Dept, officer cited M ichael Joseph M ontegna, 53, for Vi olation the Basic Rule, 48 mph in a 30 m ph zone. -M C S O receiv ed a walk-in report from a subject from lone that her son had been sneaking out at night and possibly abusing drugs. The subject w anted him sent to Juvenile Hall. -M C S O rec e iv e d a report from a caller in Heppner that three RVs were parked on a private road o ff the Western R oute road about five m iles from the top o f C o alm ine Grade. -M C S O o f f - d u ty d e p u ty re p o rte d a p ick u p riding the fog line for several m iles on Highw ay 730 head ed to Irrigon. It was deter m ined the driver got hom e safely. -M C S O rec e iv e d a report from a caller in Heppner that kids were banging on his w indow s and doors. -M C S O rec e iv e d a request for a deputy from a caller at Bucknum ’s Tavern in Heppner to escort a male sub ject out. -M C SO , B oardm an Police Dept, received a report from a caller in Boardm an o f a possible prowler outside her garage. May 31: M C S O cited Abdul Aleem Mulla, 25, for Exceeding the M axim um Speed, 86 m ph in a 65 m ph zone. -M C S O c ite d Jose L om bera-T apia, 44, for No O p e r a t o r ’s L ic e n s e a n d Driving Uninsured. The vehicle was impounded. -M C S O rec e iv e d a report o f an intrusion alarm at Finley Butte. The alarm w as s h o rtly c a n c e lle d by th e company. -M C S O rec e iv e d a report from a caller in lone that someone had trashed the lone Grange Hall. -M C S O rec e iv e d a request for contact from a caller in Irrigon regarding an unknown female coming to the residence demanding parts o ff her daughter’s car. The female was now across the street in a pickup. M C S O transferred call to O SP w ho w as unable to locate the subject. -M C S O , H ep p n er ambulance received a request from a caller in H eppner for an am bulance for a 73-year- old m ale w ho was conscious/ b rea th in g , w ith a d iab e tic r e a c tio n . S u b je c t w a s t r a n s p o r t e d to P io n e e r Memorial Hospital. -M C S O rec e iv e d a report from a caller in Heppner that a tree w as dow n near B oard Creek. Info w as left with the USFS. -M C SO cited Juanita L ongoria H olem an, 32, for D riving w hile S uspended- violation. -M C S O rec e iv e d a r e p o r t fro m a c a ll e r in Boardm an that vehicles were speeding up and dow n the road. -M C S O rec e iv e d a rep o rt from a b u sin e ss in Heppner that a subject bought three boxes o f Sudafed. -M C S O rec e iv e d a report from a caller in Irrigon that her motorcycle was stolen last weekend. -M C S O re c e iv e d a report from a caller in Irrigon that a cow w as in his pasture again and dam aged his fence. -M C S O rec e iv e d a r e p o r t fro m a c a ll e r in B oardm an o f a loud party going on. -M C S O rec e iv e d a request for contact from a caller in Irrigon regarding a vehicle that was taken and the caller wants to report it stolen. -M C S O c ite d Lyle Daniel Sm ith, 26, for H itch Hiking. -M C S O rec e iv e d a r e p o r t o f an a b a n d o n e d vehicle near Patterson Ferry Rd. -M C S O rec e iv e d a report from a caller in lone that her brother and his friends w ere the lone Park drinking. K acy Childers, 20, was cited for Possession o f Less than One Ounce o f M arijuana. -M C S O rec e iv e d a report from a caller in lone that ju v en iles w ere at the School Bus yard. June 3 : M C S O received a report from a caller in B oardm an that a subject w as on her porch and w ould not leave. -M C SO cancelled a report on a stole gun. -M C S O r e c e iv e d rep o rt that tw o large dogs were chasing livestock earlier and w ere now follow ing a fem a le jo g g e r. T h e c a lle r thought the dog ow ner w as a subject in Boardman. June 4: M C S O r e c e iv e d a r e p o r t fro m U m atilla County that Sergio U rru tia B e c e rra , 4 1 , w as arrested on an Irrigon Justice C ourt w arrant for F ailure to P a y F in e /D r iv in g w h ile S u sp e n d e d . F ull b a il w as required and there w ere also INS holds on him. -M C S O a r r e s te d T h e r e s a H o rn e r, 6 2 , fo r D riv in g w hile S u sp en d ed / m isdem eanor. She w as also c ite d f o r D r iv in g w h ile Suspended/m isdemeanor and Driving Uninsured. -M C S O c ite d A b ra h a m J. D iaz, 32, for Driving Uninsured. -M C S O re c e iv e d a rep o rt o f p late s rec o v e red from a vehicle that determined the plates had been switched. -M C S O re c e iv e d a r e p o r t fro m a c a l l e r in Boardm an that a c a lf w as out and in his driveway. Records indicated the ow ner and the caller said he would put the calf in his pasture and water it until the owner could be contacted. O w ner was finally contacted and said he w ould get the calf the following day. -M C S O re c e iv e d a report from a caller in Irrigon o f loud music. -M C S O c ite d L ora Davis, 49, for Violation o f the Basic Rule, 70 m ph in a 55 m ph z o n e a n d F a ilu re to Maintain Lane. -M C S O re c e iv e d a request for deputy co ntact regarding an ongoing anim al problem . Phone contact was made. -M C S O rec e iv e d a request for a caller in Heppner for a locksm ith for a lockout at H e p p n e r H ig h S c h o o l. Looslie’s was notified. -M C S O re c e iv e d a report that C linton A ndrew Shepardson, 21, was arrested and lodged at Umatilla County J a il o n a P P S d e te n tio n warrant. -M C S O re c e iv e d a re p o rt o f a p o s s ib le ro ad hazard on 1-84 w estbound near m p 167. It looked to possibly be bags o f gravel on the freeway. -M C S O rec e iv e d a r e p o r t fro m a c a ll e r in Hardman that the windows in his cabin were shot out. -M C S O rec e iv e d a request for contact from a caller in Boardman regarding a subject w ho w as causing problems. -M C SO , B oardm an ambulance received a request for an am bulance to com e to the fire hall for a 4-year-old patient.
