SIX - Heppner Gazette-Times, Heppner, Oregon Sheriff's Report The M o rro w C o u n ty S h eriff’s Office (M C S O ) re ports handling the follow ing business: Jan. 13: MCSO re ceived a report from a caller in lrrigon that her husband’s pickup had been broken into and items stolen. The prev ious week, the keys to the pickup had been taken out of the call er’s car. -MCSO, lone Fire Dept, received a report from a caller in lone of an electrical smell coming from a laundry room and a little smoke seen. It was determined to be a dry er overheating; all was okay. -MCSO deputy re ported a disabled vehicle on Highway 207. Gasoline was brought to the vehicle. -MCSO deputy cited Charles Robert Kelly, 57, for Violation of the Basic Rule, 70 mph in a 55 mph zone. -MCSO received a report from a caller in lrrigon that she came home and found blood on her front gate. -MCSO deputy cited Maureen E. Brooks, 27, for Violation of the Basic Rule, 78 mph in a 55 mph zone. -B oardm an Police Dept, officer cited Jessie Robeldo, 34, for No Opera tor’s License and No Insur ance. -MCSO, Boardman and lrrigon ambulances re ceived a report o f a medical alert from a residence in lrrigon. A 59-year-old female had a possible fractured leg. The patient was transported to Good Shepherd Medical Cen ter in Hermiston. -MCSO received a request for a deputy contact from Bank of Eastern Oregon regarding a check forgery. A deputy Was already working on the case. -B oardm an Police Dept, officer arrested Steven Lynn Cox, 46, on a Morrow County warrant for Failure to Appear/Driving while License Suspended. Cox was lodged at the Umatilla County Jail. -MCSO received a report of a dog chasing a fe male subject while at A.C. Houghton School in lrrigon. -MCSO received a report from a caller in Heppner o f two vehicles playing “cat and mouse” and speeding. -MCSO deputy cited Ljike Everest Baugh, 23, for Violation of the Basic Rule, 71 mph in a 55 mph zone. -MCSO, Boardman Police Dept, received a report from a caller in Boardman that her husband was very intoxi cated, threatened the caller Wednesday, April 2, 2003 and cut his hand. MCSO, Boardman ambulance received a request for an ambulance for an 18- month-old infant in Boardman who was semi-conscious and had a high temperature. The patient was transported to Good Shepherd Medical Cen ter in Hermiston. -MCSO received a relayed report from a caller in Boardman of taillights taken off a truck. -MCSO received an abandoned 911 call from a business in Boardman. A dep uty advised all was okay. Jan. 14: MCSO cited Leah Nicole Cordova, 26, for Violation of the Basic Rule, 76 mph in a 55 mph zone. -MCSO received a report from a caller in lone that locks had been cut o ff som e o f the construction tool trailers during the night. -MCSO received a report from a caller in lone that someone had entered her garage during the night and stole her wallet, cell phone and money out o f her vehicle. -MCSO received a report from a caller in Lexington that someone broke into her pickup some time during the night and stole a camera out of her vehicle. -MCSO received a report from a caller in lone that someone broke into his garage last night and went through his car. It was unknown at this time what was stolen. -MCSO received a report from a caller in Lexington that someone cut at least nine padlocks o ff the storage sheds. It was unknown what was taken. -MCSO received a request from a c aller in Heppner for extra deputy patrol for the next four or five days until locks can be changed as his keys were stolen from an 'earlier burglary. -MCSO received a request for deputy contact regarding possible harassment. -MCSO received a report from a caller in lone that city trucks had their utility boxes opened and gone through. A lso o v er the weekend someone took off Christmas lights and broke boards. There are footprints in the bam. -MCSO received a request for information from a Walla Walla man regarding a family in the area his daughter is living with. -MCSO received a report from ADT that a panic alarm was going o ff at a Boardman residence. It was determined that all was okay and that the resident had accidentally tripped the alarm. -M C SO a rre sted John Henry Youngman, 28, on State Prison Board for a Weight loss support group forms in lone A weekly weight loss su p p o rt group o fferin g u n d e rsta n d in g and encouragement is forming in lone, with its first meeting to be held Monday, April 7, at 7:30 p.m. at the home o f Lea Mathieu. The group, which will discuss a different topic each week, will be based on mutual respect and goals. There are no fees or public weigh-ins. Participants are asked to bring their favorite low- calorie recipe to the first meeting. For questions or directions, call Mathieu at 4 2 2-7215, ev en in g s and weekends. Joker Poker Trail Ride to be held The annual Jo k er Poker Trail Ride will begin Saturday, April 12, at 9 a.m. Signup will be at that time and the ride will start at 10 a.m. The ride is to be located at the Columbia River Equestrian Center, west o f Umatilla. This ride is open for all breeds of horses and riders of all ages. After the trail ride, there will be a large raffle for everyone, including those who choose not to ride. The fee for the ride is $5 a hand, with no limit to the hands brought. Oregon Trail 1 Appaloosa Club is sponsoring the ride. On the call back the phone was busy. It was determined to be a phone problem. -MCSO received a rep o rt from a c a lle r in Lexington that a vehicle was driving erratically on Baseline Rd., towards lone. -MCSO received a request for deputy contact regarding signing a complaint about a barking dog. Belinda Bradford, 26, was cited for Maintaining a Dog as a Public Nuisance. -MCSO received a request for information from a stranded helicopter pilot at the Lexington Airport for local motels and closest town. -MCSO received a relayed report o f an Unlawful Entry o f a Motor Vehicle in lone. -MCSO received a report of an illegal fire in which people were burning car parts and tires. -M C SO a rre sted Theodore Richard Eubanks, 22, on a Gilliam County Circuit C ourt w arrant for Parole Violation/Fumishing Alcohol to a M inor and F a ilu re to A p p ear-II. S u b ject was lodged at Norcor. -MCSO received a report from a caller in lrrigon that two juvenile males ran through his yard and under his fence and that his car stereo was stolen. Subject was transported to Good Shepherd Medical Center in Hermiston. -M C SO arre sted James Michael Gunderson, 20, for Minor in Possession- alcohol and Possession o f Less than O ne O unce o f Marijuana. -MCSO received a re p o rt from a c a lle r in Boardman that cow was out on Kunze at Paul Smith Rd in Boardm an. The cow was unable to be located. -M C SO a rre sted Jeremy Michael Carroll, 21, on a Umatilla County warrant for Carrying a Concealed Weapon. Subject was lodged at Umatilla County Jail with no local charges. -MCSO received a request for deputy contact from Heppner Elementary regarding a fourth-grade student. -M CSO received a request for deputy contact from a Lexington resident regarding the way the school bus driver handled her son. -MCSO received a report that a car was partially blocking Bombing Range Rd. at Hwy 730. Deputies were unable to locate the car. -MCSO received a report from a caller in lrrigon stating that he was cleaning up his late brother’s property and found a boat and wanted to be sure it wasn't stolen. -MCSO, Boardman ambulance received a report from Sam B oardm an Elementary that an 11 -year- old student was having trouble breathing while wrestling. Subject was tran sp o rt to G ood Shepherd M edical Center in Hermiston. -MCSO received a re p o rt from a c a lle r in Boardman that a car was in front a residence a few houses down playing very loud music and that this was an ongoing problem . D ep u ties w ere unable to locate the vehicle. -MCSO received a request for deputy contact from a c a lle r in lrrig o n regarding her daughter. -MCSO received a request for a welfare check on a 3-year-old boy alone in a vehicle in the Boardman rest area. Caller advised there were no adults around. It was determined that all was okay and that the father was there sleeping. -MCSO cited Daniel H en ry W ilson, 38, for Violation of the Basic Rule, 61 mph in a 40 mph zone. -MCSO received a re p o rt from a c a lle r in B o ardm an o f a fig h t in progress behind the Sandpiper Apartments. Jacob Garza, 22, was cited for Possession o f a Controlled Substance. Jan . 16: Multnomah C o u n ty S h e riffs O ffice arrested Jeffery S. Steinman, 23, on a M orrow County Circuit warrant for Failure to Appear/Harassment. He was lodged at Multnomah County jail with no local charges. -MCSO received a report from a caller in Heppner that someone was littering at the Blue Spruce. Caller also advised deputy on the call that a futon mattress had been stolen from the location. -MCSO received a report from a caller in lrrigon that two juvenile males were shooting rifles from the book door o f a residence. Caller said she could see them from her shop and they had been doing this for over an hour. -MCSO received a report from a caller in Heppner that some one altered a check that he wrote at GDs earlier in the month. -M C SO a rre ste d Jo se R icard o R ey n o sa- Toscano, 28, on a warrant for Possession and Attempted D elivery o f a C ontrolled Substance/E ndangering a Minor and on Possession o f a Forged Instrument-I. Subject was lodged at Umatilla County Jail. -MCSO received a report from a caller in lrrigon saying that he quit his driving job because o f eyesight and wanted the owner o f the pick up to get the vehicle. Owner said he was going to sign it stolen. -MCSO received a report from a caller in lrrigon saying that a 3-year-old child was standing on the comer of the road with no visible adult. Caller advised parents came and picked up child. -MCSO received a report that black smoke was coming from under the railroad overpass on Hwy 730 at the Boardman exit. -MCSO received a report o f a disable vehicle on Hwy 730 in lrrigon. Vehicle was towed. -MCSO received a re p o rt from a c a lle r in Boardman that an unwanted person was at her residence. -MCSO received a report that a controlled bum in Heppner was accidentally re ig n ite d n o rth o f the Courthouse. -MCSO received a re p o rt from U C SO o f a vehicle fire on Hwy 207 near Myers Lane. An attempt to locate was sent to all agencies, as this is a possible stolen vehicle. Jan. 17: M CSO received a report from a cell phone caller that he was following a possible DUII on 1-84 near mp 163. The vehicle w as lo cated bu t it w as determined to not be a DUII. -M C SO , lrrig o n ambulance received a report from a caller in lrrigon that his 29-year-old wife was having stomach pains. She has had the flu for the last week. -MCSO received a request for a records check from Linn County Sheriffs Office. -M CSO received a report from Columbia Jr. High in lrrigon that vandalism occurred some time the night before. -MCSO received a request for deputy assistance from DHS with a child issue in lrrigon. -M C SO cite d Rebecca Anne Redman, 43, for Violation of the Basic Rule, 40 mph in a 30 mph zone. -M C SO a rre sted Matthew Byron Phillips, 32, on a detention warrant by Parole and Probation. Subject was lodged at UCJ. -MCSO received a request for deputy contact because o f a fishing boat re fu sin g to m ove at the B oardm an B each access where the Navy ship is. -MCSO impounded a vehicle at the Boardman Fire Hall. Driver had no operator’s license and no insurance. -M C SO c ite d a ju v e n ile su b je c t fo r N o Operator’s License. -M CSO cited Jose De Jesus Torres, 31, for Failure to Yield to a Pedestrian and No Proof o f Insurance. . -MCSO received a request for a copy o f a report re g a rd in g h er d au g h ter. Deputies left a message at the caller’s residence advising that her daughter was not in the report and they would not be able to release a copy o f the re p o rt w ith ou t fu rth e r information. -MCSO received a report from a caller in lrrigon that her 36-year-old husband took tw o sm all boxes o f Drixoral. He is conscious and breathing and did not want her to call so she is calling from o u tsid e . T h ere w as no transport. -MCSO received a report from a caller in lone that someone stole a stereo from his vehicle and damaged his cell phone. -M C SO c ite d a juvenile subject for Driving While Suspended-infraction/ D riving U ninsured/Speed R acin g . V ehicle w as impounded. -MCSO received a report o f a disable vehicle on 1-84 w ith a m ale subject heading westbound. -MCSO received a request for contact from HHS regarding juveniles who were on school p ro p e rty and making threats and needed to be escorted off the property. -M C SO cited Michael John Hammons, 30, for Violation of the Basic Rule, 78 mph in a 55 mph zone. -MCSO received a re p o rt from a c a lle r in Boardman that loud music was coming from a residence down the road and that it was an ongoing problem and he wants to sign a complaint. Reynaldo Zurita Juarez, 44, was arrested for D iso rd erly C onduct, Resisting Arrest and Interfering with a Peace Officer. Subject was lodged at UCJ. -MCSO, Boardman ambulance received a request for an ambulance for a 69- year-old male who was just released from the hospital the day before and had a weak pulse, was semi-conscious and was breathing on oxygen. Subject was transported to G ood Shepherd M edical Center in Hermiston. Jan. 18: Boardman Police Dept, officer cited a ju venile male for Curfew Viola tion-Juvenile. -MCSO received a report from a caller in Heppner that he saw two male subjects yelling at each other at the cor ner of Quaid and Elder streets. -MCSO received a report from Hermiston Police D ept, th a t C h risto p h e r Dewayne Scheider, 20, was arrested on two M orrow County warrants. He was lodged at the Umatilla County Jail. -MCSO deputy cited a male subject for DUII (BAC . 17) to appear at lrrigon Jus tice Court. -MCSO received a report from a caller in lrrigon that she loaned money to a fe male subject. The subject wrote her a bad check and now the caller was unable to get a hold o f the subject. -MCSO deputy cited James Edward Roy, 44, for Violation of the Basic Rule, 74 mph in a 55 mph zone. -MCSO, Boardman Police Dept, received a report of an audible burglar alarm at the Boardman Health Care Center. It was determined to be a false alarm. -MCSO deputy cited Donald Wayne Taylor, 39, for Violation of the Basic Rule, 71 mph in a 55 mph zone, and Driving while License Sus- pended-I. -MCSO deputy cited Shirley Wilkinson Rugg, 73, for Violation of the Basic Rule, 68 mph in a 45 mph zone. -MCSO deputy cited Casey Daniel Rodriguez, 29, for Violation of the Basic Rule, 75 mph in a 55 mph zone and Failure to Register Vehicle. -MCSO deputy cited John Donald Carter, 22, for Speed Racing and Failure to Carry Registration. -MCSO deputy cited a male juvenile for Speed Rac ing and Failure to Carry Reg istration. -MCSO deputy ar rested Daniel Joe Hum, 26, on a Umatilla County Sheriff’s Office warrant for Failure to A p p ear/C O C , and lo cal Probable Cause charges o f Elude and Reckless Driving. The vehicle was towed. -MCSO deputy ar rested Robert Gene Morley, 34, on a Morrow County Cir cuit Court warrant for Parole Violation/Possession of a Con trolled Substance and on an lrrigon Justice Court warrant for Failure to Pay Fine/Driv- ing while License Suspended. -MCSO received a report from At The Movies in Boardman that a stink bomb had been set off at the store about an hour ago. -MCSO deputy cited Chad Henry Peck, 36, for Vi olation o f file Basic Rule, 67 mph in a 55 mph zone and Failure to Dim Lights. -MCSO received a report from Hermiston Police Dept, that Steven Castillo, 42, was arrested on a Morrow County Sheriff’s Office war rant for Failure to Pay Fine/ Possession o f Less that One Oz. Marijuana. -MCSO received a request from a caller at the Port of Morrow for an officer contact regarding a theft from the cheerleaders. -M C SO , O reg o n State Police, Boardman Po lice Dept, cited Richard Dav id Treece, 61, for Improper Use o f Seatbelt (x2). -MCSO received a rep o rt from W ashington County Sheriff’s Office that Jeremy Eckard, 21, was ar rested on a Tillamook County warrant with a hold placed on a Heppner Justice Court war rant for Failure to Pay Fine/ Driving while License Sus pended.
