Jan. 13: MCSO re­
ceived a report from a caller
in lrrigon that her husband’s
pickup had been broken into
and items stolen. The prev ious
week, the keys to the pickup
had been taken out of the call­
er’s car.

Dept, received a report from
a caller in lone of an electrical
smell coming from a laundry
room and a little smoke seen.
It was determined to be a dry­
er overheating; all was okay.
-MCSO deputy re­
ported a disabled vehicle on
Highway 207. Gasoline was
brought to the vehicle.

Charles Robert Kelly, 57, for
Violation of the Basic Rule, 70
mph in a 55 mph zone.

that she came home and found
blood on her front gate.

lrrigon. A 59-year-old female
had a possible fractured leg.
The patient was transported to
Good Shepherd Medical Cen­
ter in Hermiston.

from Bank of Eastern Oregon
regarding a check forgery. A
deputy Was already working
on the case.

Suspended. Cox was lodged
at the Umatilla County Jail.

report from a caller in Heppner
o f two vehicles playing “cat
and mouse” and speeding.

Police Dept, received a report
from a caller in Boardman that
her husband was very intoxi­
cated, threatened the caller

and cut his hand.

ambulance received a request
for an ambulance for an 18-
month-old infant in Boardman
who was semi-conscious and
had a high temperature. The
patient was transported to
Good Shepherd Medical Cen­
ter in Hermiston.

relayed report from a caller in
Boardman of taillights taken off
a truck.
-MCSO received an
abandoned 911 call from a
business in Boardman. A dep­
uty advised all was okay.
Jan. 14: MCSO cited
Leah Nicole Cordova, 26, for
Violation of the Basic Rule, 76
mph in a 55 mph zone.
-MCSO received a report
from a caller in lone that locks had
been cut o ff som e o f the
construction tool trailers during
the night.
-MCSO received a report
from a caller in lone that someone
had entered her garage during the
night and stole her wallet, cell
phone and money out o f her
vehicle.
-MCSO received a report
from a caller in Lexington that
someone broke into her pickup
some time during the night and
stole a camera out of her vehicle.
-MCSO received a report
from a caller in lone that someone
broke into his garage last night
and went through his car. It was
unknown at this time what was
stolen.
-MCSO received a report
from a caller in Lexington that
someone cut at least nine
padlocks o ff the storage
sheds. It was unknown what
was taken.
-MCSO received a
request from a c aller in
Heppner for extra deputy
patrol for the next four or five
days until locks can be
changed as his keys were
stolen from an 'earlier burglary.
-MCSO received a
request for deputy contact
regarding possible harassment.
-MCSO received a
report from a caller in lone that
city trucks had their utility
boxes opened and gone
through. A lso o v er the
weekend someone took off
Christmas lights and broke
boards. There are footprints in
the bam.
-MCSO received a
request for information from a
Walla Walla man regarding a
family in the area his daughter
is living with.
-MCSO received a
report from ADT that a panic
alarm was going o ff at a
Boardman residence. It was
determined that all was okay
and that the resident had
accidentally tripped the alarm.

Weight loss support group
forms in lone
A weekly weight loss
su p p o rt group o fferin g
u n d e rsta n d in g
and
encouragement is forming in
lone, with its first meeting to
be held Monday, April 7, at
7:30 p.m. at the home o f Lea
Mathieu.
The group, which will
discuss a different topic each
week, will be based on mutual
respect and goals. There are
no fees or public weigh-ins.
Participants are asked
to bring their favorite low-
calorie recipe to the first
meeting. For questions or
directions, call Mathieu at

Joker Poker Trail Ride to be held
The annual Jo k er
Poker Trail Ride will begin
Saturday, April 12, at 9 a.m.
Signup will be at that time and
the ride will start at 10 a.m.
The ride is to be located at the
Columbia River Equestrian
Center, west o f Umatilla.
This ride is open for
all breeds of horses and riders
of all ages. After the trail ride,
there will be a large raffle for
everyone, including those who
choose not to ride.
The fee for the ride is
$5 a hand, with no limit to the
hands brought. Oregon Trail

the ride.

found a boat and wanted to
be sure it wasn't stolen.

a 3-year-old boy alone in a

area. Caller advised there
were no adults around. It was
determined that all was okay

arrested Jeffery S. Steinman,

that someone was littering at
the Blue Spruce. Caller also
advised deputy on the call that
a futon mattress had been
stolen from the location.

that two juvenile males were
shooting rifles from the book
door o f a residence. Caller
said she could see them from
her shop and they had been
doing this for over an hour.

that some one altered a check
that he wrote at GDs earlier in
the month.

said he was going to sign it
stolen.

saying that a 3-year-old child
was standing on the comer of
the road with no visible adult.
Caller advised parents came
and picked up child.

report that black smoke was
coming from under the railroad
overpass on Hwy 730 at the
Boardman exit.

report o f a disable vehicle on
Hwy 730 in lrrigon. Vehicle
was towed.

Boardman that an unwanted
person was at her residence.

locate was sent to all agencies,
as this is a possible stolen
vehicle.

phone caller that he was
following a possible DUII on
1-84 near mp 163. The vehicle

determined to not be a DUII.

29-year-old wife was having
stomach pains. She has had
the flu for the last week.
