BMCC golf class slated to begin Blue Mountain Community College will provide beginning adult group golf lessons this spring at Willow Creek Country Club. The classes will start on Wednesday, March 2 and run for St. Patrick’s Senior Center Bulletin Board Sheriff’s Report There were 110 people present for the senior dinner Jan. 19, in cluding six out of town visitors. Five meals were sent out. Members of the Seventh-Day Adventist and Nazarene Churches served. Margaret Dubuque won the door prize, Ralph Struthers, the meal ticket and Colleen Harris, of Alaska, the guest prize. The senior center board met following the meal. Blood pressures were taken before the meal. The menu for February 2 will be Spanish rice with meat, green beans, peaches, com bread and peanut butter brownies. Members of the Methodist church will serve. The Meal Site committee will meet following the meal. There will be hearing aid assistance and blood pressures taken before the meal. A foot care clinic will be held at 1:30 p.m. There was one table of cards in play Friday afternoon, Jan. 21. Cards are played every Friday at 2:30 p.m. if enough people come. Everyone is welcome. Nine seniors watched the movie “ Five Mile Creek” volume one. The next volume in the series will be shown Sunday, Jan. 30 at 6 p.m. Coming up very soon is the St. Patrick’s Day Celebration. Volunteers are needed for the senior breakfast at the fairgrounds and the soup and roll luncheon and pie and coffee sale at the Senior Center. The senior center quilt made by Quilters and Company, is on display at the center and tickets are available at the center office. The pro ceeds from these projects help keep the center operating. Seniors, please volunteer some time. Puppy was recovered; Morrow County Sheriff s of fice dispatched the Fossil am bulance to a residence in Fossil for a female with an unknown il lness. No transport was made; M orrow County deputy responded to Greg’s Tavern in Ir rigon for a traffic problem; M orrow County deputy responded to Irrigon to in vestigate a suspicious vehicle. Deputy was unable to locate vehicle. January 18: Morrow County deputy responded to the Irrigon area for a report of a disturbance ; M orrow County deputy responded to the Blake Ranch to investigate some equipment that had been reported vandalized; M orrow County deputy responded to the Irrigon area for a disturbance. January 19: Morrow County deputy responded to the board- man area to investigate a bike found on Wilson Road; Morrow County deputy took a report of a shotgun stolen from Judith Buffo, Irrigon; M orrow County deputy responded to 1-84 for a report of a vehicle going east bound in the west bound lanes; Morrow County Sheriff s of fice dispatched the Boardman am bulance to the Wilson Trailer Court. One male was transported to Good Shepherd Community Hospital with an illness; M orrow County deputy responded to a report of an intox icated driver on Hwy. 730. January 20: Morrow County deputy responded to the Irrigon area for a report of suspicious circumstances; M orrow County deputy responded to a complaint of juveniles throwing rocks at vehicles in Boardman. January 21: Morrow County Sheriff s office dispatched the Arlington ambulance to a motor vehicle accident on 1-84. mile post 134. There were no injuries and no transports; M orrow County deputy responded to Irrigon to in vestigate the report of a juvenile problem; M orrow County deputy responded to the Irrigon area to investigate an animal problem; M orrow County deputy responded to lone to investigate the report of a noise problem on Main St. Deputy was unable to locate problem; Morrow County deputy ar rested Rocky John Rodriguez. 27. January 22: Morrow County deputy arrested Rick Altergott, 37, Irrigon, for Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicants. Altergott was cited and released; Morrow County Sheriff s of fice dispatched the Boardman am bulance to a Boardman residence for a female with an unknown problem . One person was transported to Good Shepherd Comm unity Hospital in Hermiston; M orrow County deputy responded to Irrigon for what turned out to be a civil problem; M orrow County deputy responded to Irrigon for a neighborhood disturbance; M orrow County deputy responded to a residence on Divi sion St., to investigate the report of a neighborhood dispute; M orrow County deputy responded to investigate the report of a juvenile problem near the Irrigon Mobile Court. January 26, 1994 - SEVEN responded to investigate the report o f suspicious c ir cumstances at the Irrigon Post Office; M orrow County deputy responded to investigate a motor vehicle accident four miles north of Lexington. No ambulance was needed. January 23: Morrow County deputy assisted the Boardman Police Dept, in the investigation of an intrusion into the Boardman Day Care Center. Deputy was unable to locate anything; Morrow County deputy assisted Oregon State Police in the investigation of a Domestic Dispute on 4th Street, Irrigon; Morrow County deputy assisted Boardman Police Dept with a juvenile problem; Morrow County Sheriffs of fice dispatched the Fossil am- bualnce to aresidence in Fossil for a young child with an unknown problem. No transport was necessary; Morrow County deputy ar rested Ronald L. Sabuco, 44, Umatilla, on an Irrigon Justice Court warrant for Failure To Ap pear on a charge of Permitting a Dog to Run at Large. Sabuco was lodged at Benton County Jail. January 24: Morrow County Sheriffs office began investiga tion of vandalism of vehicles parked near Lamb Weston; Morrow County deputy began investigation of attempted break in of change machines at Oregon Potato. Boardman; Morrow County deputy ar rested Michael R. Snyder, Jr., 23, on an Irrigon Justice Court warrant for Failure To Pay Fine, Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicants and a Hermiston war rant for Theft of Services. He was released on his own recognizance and turned over to Hermiston for their charges; Morrow County deputy ar rested Sergio Hernandez, 22, Boardman for A ttem pted Burglary I, Menacing and Theft III. He was lodged at Benton County Jail. January 25: Morrow County Sheriff s office dispatched the Boardman ambulance to a residence in Boardman. One male was transported to St. Anthony Hospital in Pendleton with an il lness.
