Lea Mathieu, on Sunday, May 31 at 4:30 p.m. at the church. The public is invited. Graham, who was bom and raised at Kinzua, began working in the woods at the mill there in 1953. He began running proper ty lines and marking timber. In 1978 when the mill at Kin zua closed he moved to Heppner. He ended his career buying logs and timber and purchasing land. Graham says that he has seen a lot of changes in the log scal ing equipment and in the mills, ‘‘some to the better and some not.” Graham and his wife, Rosie, have two daughters, Mary Dun ning, Heppner and Helen Ekstrom , lone, and three grandchildren. While he says he has no special plans for retirem ent, he said he is “ looking forward” to it. ‘‘It will be a change,” he added.
