Vehicle belonged to Deb VanDeventer and amount of damage had not yet been determined; Morrow County deputy con tacted Hope Thompson, Rt. 2, Ir rigon. for a report of tampering of mail. Investigation is continuing; Morrow County deputy ar rested Jack Brennemen, 36, Ir rigon, for Driving Under the In fluence of Intoxicants and Assault IV. Subject was lodged at Ben ton County Jail. December 21: Morrow Coun ty Sheriff s office dispatched the Condon ambulance to 318 Church St. Condon, for a woman having seizures. Woman was transported to Gilliam Co. Medical Center; Morrow County deputy ar rested Bruce Brulotte, 51, Board man, for Driving Under the In fluence of Intoxicants. Brulotte was cited and released; Morrow County deputy ar rested Lester Ray Martin Jr.. 21, Irrigon, for Driving While Revoked, felony. He was cited and released; Morrow County Sheriffs of fice received a report of burglary at the Office Tavern in Ione. Deputy responded, investigation is continuing. Value has not yet been determined; Morrow County Sheriffs of fice dispatched the Ione Fire Department to a flue fire at 330 2nd St. Fire was contained; Morrow County deputy responded to a motor vehicle ac cident on 1-84, mile post 154. The Boardman ambulance was dispat ched. Two people were transported to Good Shepherd Hospital with unknown injuries; Morrow County deputy responded to the Linn residence on Oregon St. in Irrigon for a report of burglary. Investigation is continuing, amount of value was unknown; Morrow County deputy responded to a family disturbance in Boardman. December 22: Morrow Coun ty deputy assisted Wheeler Coun ty with a disturbed person Sub ject was transported to Eastern Oregon Psychiatric Center in Pendleton. December 23: Morrow Coun ty Sheriff s office responded to a motor vehicle accident on Divi sion St in Irrigon. Evaristo R. Munoz. 21, was cited for Failure to Yield Right of Way. December 24: Morrow Coun ty deputy began investigation of vandalism reported at the Irrigon Post office. December 25: Morrow Coun ty deputy located a vehicle that was reported as having a possi ble drunk driver. Call was unfounded. December 26: Morrow Coun ty deputy responded to assist Oregon State Police with initial report of a driver being forced off the freeway. Investigation was turned over to Oregon State Police; Morrow County Sheriffs of fice dispatched the Arlington am bulance to the Shell station for a two year old child with an illness. Child was transported to Mid Columbia Medical Center in The Dalles; Morrow County Sheriffs of fice responded to assist Oregon State Police with a wrong-way driver on 1-84. Vehicle was unable to be located; Morrow County Sheriffs of fice dispatched the Fossil am bulance to a residence on 1st St. in Fossil for a male subject with an unknown illness. Subject was transported to Bend; Morrow County deputy responded to the Ione Lexington area for a report of a suspicious circumstances. Call was unfounded. December 27: Morrow Coun ty deputy responded to an Irrigon business for a report of an intox icated subject causing problems. Problem was solved; Morrow County Sheriffs of fice dispatched the Fossil am bulance to a residence near Antelope for a female with an unknown illness; Morrow County Sheriffs of fice dispatched the Arlington fire department to a report of a vehi cle fire on 1-84, mile post 133 westbound. Call was unfounded; Morrow County Sheriffs of fice dispatched the Condon am bulance to a business in Condon for a person with an unknown injury; Morrow County Sheriffs of fice dispatched the Arlington am bulance to a multiple vehicle ac cident on 1-84, mile post 140. Illegal burning in Irrigon draws fine 4-H News North Lex Livestock Swine Club By Bridget McElligott, Reporter The meeting of the North Lex Livestock Swine club on Dec. 22 began with the election of of ficers. The following officers were elected to serve for 1992: president-Nancy Morter; vice president-Justin Miller; secretary- Tina Kemp; and reporter-Bridget McElligott. Other topics discussed were whether the club would take any field trips in addition to the one scheduled in February which is a tour of the Kreb’s Ranches. New record books were distributed and the meeting was adjourned. North Lex Livestock North Lex Livestock club held a meeting in November. Members discussed club respon sibility, requirements and keep ing record books. Anyone who wishes to join must come to the next meeting January 19. 2 p.m. at the Ione school cafeteria. Sheep producer conference set A conference for Umatilla and Morrow County sheep producers will be held Wednesday, Jan. 8 at The Olde Country Brand Restaurant at Hi Heather Inn near Umatilla from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The conference registration fees, which include a buffet lunch are $ 10 per person. Producers are requested to RSVP prior to Jan. 3 to the Morrow County Exten sion office 676-9642 or the Umatilla County Extension Of fice, 276-7111 ext. 235. Several OSU Extension facul ty will present information on timely topics for the sheep in dustry. Registration for the sheep conference will begin with coffee and donuts at 10 a.m. A review of the OSU Lambing Schools, presented by Bill Broderick, Morrow County Extension agent, will be the topic at 10:30. Next Dr. Don Hansen, OSU Extension veterinarian will discuss the prevention and treatment of respiratory diseases in lambs. Following lunch, Randy Mills, Umatilla County Livestock agent will present information on iden tifying genetics for consumer preferred lamb. Immediately following this Dr. Jim Thomp son, OSU Extension sheep specialist will discuss oppor tunities for feeding lambs.
