January 20 Heppner pulled out the close victory over the Eagles 36-32 Heppner held the host Eagles to just two field goals in the first quarter as the Fillies huilt a five point lead after one quarter of play Wahtonka battled hack in the second quarter as they outscored Heppner 10-7. Bechdolt, Pendleton, were held Jan 23 at the Bums Mortuary Chapel at Pendleti*n Interment was at the Hardman Cemetery He died Jan 20. 1990 at the Amber Valley Care Center. Pendleton Mr Bechdolt was bom in Hard man on July 4, 1906 to William W and Jennie Simpson Bechdolt He at tended elementary and high school in Hardman and graduated from Oregon State University with honors in 1928 He was a high school teacher in the commercial depart ment at Boardman and Lexington. On August 19. 1944, he married VclvaG Jackson at Reno, Nevada He was a partner with his brother in a cattle ranch and wheat farm in Morrow County for many years He was a member of the First Christian Church at Pendleton, the Heppner lOOF Lodge, the Lex ington Grange.
