Being a gar dener. I can appreciate the work someone has gone to in order to make your church yard a place of beauty. I have shed tears over lost gardens myself, and know the pain involved in seeing the fruits of hard labor destroyeed (mostly by cows, in my case). There is. however, a loss that is. in my opinion, much more tragic than that of flow ers from a yard. That is the loss in adults of the openness. If Jesus were to grieve over a situation like this, would he weep because four little girls playing wedding decided they needed to celebrate with flowers? Or would he weep over adults who have forgot ten his admonition to them? "Remember this! Unless you change and become like child ren, you will never enter the Kingdom of Heaven." I sus pect the heart of God favors the children, in this case, more than it does overreact ing adults.
