LETTERS'
Overreacting
To the editor:
I would like to make a public
apology to my fellow Christ
ians at All Saints' Episcopal
Church for the part my daugh
ter played in the picking of
their daffodils. Being a gar
dener. I can appreciate the
work someone has gone to in
order to make your church
yard a place of beauty. I have
shed tears over lost gardens
myself, and know the pain
involved in seeing the fruits of
hard labor destroyeed (mostly
by cows, in my case).
There is. however, a loss
that is. in my opinion, much
more tragic than that of flow
ers from a yard. That is the
loss in adults of the openness.
