rniI-Th Heppner Gazette-Times, Tiger Scots lay 'bomb' on Heppner 'V- As the Hcppner-Westnn-McEwen game was about to start on Monday, Sept. 26. one could hear the Heppner play ers, standing on the side lines, talking amongst themselves, trying to build a little enthus iasm, confidence and spirit. They knew that they were outweighed and had to play aggressive ball. As the ball flew through the very last seconds of the game, the final score was Tiger Scots. 1.1 and Mustangs. 7. During the last four seconds of the game, the Tiger Scots coach said to a player. "Bomb!" And, as the play got underway, number 11.
