COAST TRIP PLANS GET SMALL REGISTRATION We are in a quandry over the planned trip to the coast during spring vacation. Very little response was received in answer to letter of registration sent out. Due date for a reply was Feb. 15. If no more interest is indicated, the trip will be cancelled. THINK SPRING It must be on the way! Under all that snow and mud of floods there are living things! A trip across country to LaGrande allowed a look at the country, and some wheat fields are showing green, already. In my yard I see brave daffodil leaves and other early spring things peeking through, and it rein forces my belief that there will be spring this year! For those interested in gardening or landscaping, I hear that the lone Garden Club will be offering one of their "open" educational meetings on March 14. They will welcome all who would attend. llllllllllllltllf tllllllllllllllllllllltlllllllllllll illlllllllllllllllllllllllllltlllllllll llllfllllilIIIIIIIPIIII(IIIHIIIIIIIItllMllllllllllllltllllllll)tlL I AT AM I eppner Elks Lodge Mo. 358 TuTl Oil Qfl ,i ofurday Feb. 24, 197' AT THE LODGE Ladies Tea 1 p.m. it Lodge Initiation 1:30 p.m. it Social Hour FOLLOWING INITIATION it Dinner 6-8 p H1 SERVED AND PREPARED BY AMERICAN LEGION Dance To Two Big Binds Enter our Oregon Beef Cook Off recipe roundup.
